Alright I'm getting Silent Hill 2 delivered to me in the mail on Thursday (could be earlier). Anyway I just wanted to know is the game hard for newcomers and which difficulty would suit me best?

For the riddles, it depends if you like critical thinking. Otherwise you should be fine on normal; just be careful when it comes to fighting. My first time through I chose normal and pretty much screwed myself - I fought practically every enemy and used up all my health items, leaving me near death. So yeah, don't be like me. Run away if you can.

I've never played a silent hill game I want to get silent hill 2 but I can't find it here in Australia so I'll have to use amazon to get it. But since it's by Konami I'm sure it'll be good
XD
If any of the hard riddles REALLY stumped me, it's the door code in 3 that describes the keypad as a face. I watched one guy play it on hard, and he literally got it on his first try. Worked out the whole "these numbers are her eyes" thing by himself. I was shocked.
Did you purchase the SH HD Collection, and what is your opinion on the Voice Actors for those games, (original vs remake)
oh btw did you know Angela in SH2 was written as a 14 year old girl, i just found that out a few days ago. I was always under the impression that she was in her 20s.
XD

Actually, I only have 2 and Shattered Memories. I've heard some of the voices in the HD Collection, and I don't really like them. I mean, I'm a big fan of Laura Bailey and Troy Baker, but I just don't think they fit as Angela and James.

Angela looks like a full grown ass woman... maybe it's the voice and her ugly clothes that threw me off. I prefer the original VAs, they got that awkward Japanese translated into English dialogue that adds to the weirdness of Silent Hill done right. But I'm not saying the remake VAs did a bad job.

I watched a documentary where they interviewed the guys who made the game, they said she was supposed to be a child like 14 , age who was sexually abused by her father. However when they selected the VA they, had a 16 year old girl read the lines but she sounded a lot older than she actually was.

I love Laura Bailey, what is your favorite thing she was in?

Wait, really? I thought she was 19.
I haven't played through the remake yet, I just haven't had the time. Yeah they messed up on the original Angela's VA. I played the beginning, to where you meet Angela in the Graveyard, and i thought it was pretty decent, but then again i fan of Laura.

Well I got Silent Hill 2 just yesterday, it seems interesting but I can't really be bothered playing it, however something about it just makes me want to return, I haven't played a real horror game so maybe I'll grow into it soon.

Silent Hill 2 is one of the best games ever made. I really could relate with James and how he felt. The story is so good, it should of been made into a film.

Hm it's probably nothing I'm just not used to Horror games and never played an actual Horror game that's probably all, but it is getting interesting I just found the key to Apt. 202
I know it's getting interesting and I'm becoming used to the controls and learning not to use the flashlight to avoid enemies. I think I am doing well so far.

I just started playing Silent Hill 2 because of the themes it presents. I still think its very much ahead of its time, because I can't remember a horror game with this element of the psychological. I guess Until Dawn had symbolism with the Wendigo monsters being part of known myth, but I think it can't cast a shadow to the monsters in Silent Hill. Its being very hard for me to navigate however, I might lack that kind of intellect to find my way around properly. I guess I'll get used to it.

She molests the player.
Riddles are hard. Action is for your desire. It is pretty easy on normal.

Action i would say at least normal.
Riddle would be normal as well.
I own The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Fuck me.
Thanks.
Thanks Lahkesis and CrazyGeorge.
Did you ever beat SH2 on Hard Riddle, I got all the way to the hospital and couldn't for the life of me figure out that stupid door code.
On my last playthrough, yeah. I had to use a guide for most of the riddles though. XD
It IS good! The best Silent Hill game, along with Silent Hill 3
I'll be sure to get 3 too then, I already ordered Silent Hill 2 should come on Thursday October 23 (might be earlier)
Me too. It's too hard :P
I got stuck on that door code, i eventually gave up and cried like james.
XD

Fullmetal Alchemist, in which she played Lust. I love the deep, sultry voice she uses for more mature characters.
Oh i never seen that show.
I watched this weird cartoon called Shin Chan a long time ago, and i thought it was really good.
She certainly tries her best talking like a deep voiced little boy, which was pretty funny.
Plus doesn't she voice Green Leaf in TWAU?
no idea, I loved that show. Too bad they canceled it.
They cancel everything i like.
Yup, she was Greenleaf/Rachel. Her voice is pretty easy to spot.

What's holding you back?

No don't bring the Revelations to my mind....
That movie was terrible. i mean a movie based on the actual game's storyline.
Do you think they will make silent hill: a telltale series?
Weird how I see this just after hearing the silent hill siren near where I live. And it's foggy.. always creepy af.
