The game is just so massive in scale and there is lots to learn about the many characters, etc. I got a bit lost for a while lol

Guess it was just part of the personalization aspect of the game, like how you can buy model ships and books. And yeah, they should've added whatever first name you chose to the plaque.

Never knew why they added a first name anyway, its never used. Would have been cool if it was on your plaque at the end of ME3.

So,how many people survived your suicide mission in ME2?Only Grunt died in my playthrough,and I'm not sure why.He was loyal,and I made him lead the team while Samara escorted me.Why did he die?

I lost Miranda on my first playthrough because she wasn't loyal (fuck that argument she has with Jack) and for some reason I thought she'd have a higher chance of surviving if she went with me to fight the Reaper. Wasn't a big deal though, since I don't like her anyway. XD

Did you read their little bios on the selection screen? Since Jacob and Miranda have been soldiers for a while, they're really well-seasoned in combat. Garrus works just fine too. Everyone else is a no-go.

Because you made him lead the team. I think only Garrus, Miranda or Jacob survives that.
