As much as it pains me to say, this phrase pretty much sums up her entire development throughout the second half of the fourth season. Glenn and Maggie as a couple in the comics have been handled a lot better as opposed to the tv show. Oh, I still remember how I barely managed to watch the episodes only to see and hear Maggie thinking only about Glenn. Beth is also someone I'm not looking forward to see again....considering the whole episode with her and Daryl still haunts me.
Maybe when Beth dies she'll finally show emotion and want her back.
I'll bet a large amount of money this is what's gonna happen. So far I've heard good things about the start of the season, and I'm gonna watch it very soon, even though I'm hardly excited for it.
But people don't want realistic, they want a distorted realism. And that's what they'll get
I just recently started watching again, I watched the first episode in S5. It was pretty cool, I liked the part where Rick shot that AK 47 like it was a Colt.
I'm sure you're thinking the only logical outcome is rape-murder, correct? That would be wrong. Its the apocalypse, who knows what purpose her captors had. Just judging off of the preview of the upcoming episode, we can tell something else is going on:

Not sure why you're sticking someone else's quote with my own.
No one is saying that she is going to be treated well (or treated with any sort of dignity really), only that she doesn't necessarily have to be automatically raped/murdered and then dropped in a ditch somewhere simply because she's a young, good looking girl. The fact that you can't see any other sort of realistic outcome is honestly ridiculous.
You can go ahead and drop the condescending attitude.

Maybe when she was abducted, they gave her a makeover.

He was including my quote because if the show was being realistic this would be the most realistic choice (referring to the rape-murder thing). But since most people want a distorted realism you will not receive what is actually most realistic and likely to happen.

Oh, I'm perfectly calm. I just wish you would have engaged in more constructive/reasonable discussion instead of sarcastically insulting my intelligence two times in a row. But hey, whatever. I understand why you don't see a fairytale ending happening.

Oh calm down, I just don't see that fairytale ending, especially after watching S5 episode 1.
Alright, that's what I thought. I wasn't 100% sure, as he had stuck it all into one quote instead of splitting it up.
Being in the apocalypse opens up the motivations behind abducting someone. It doesn't necessarily have to be some sort of psychotic rape-murder situation. I'm not even going to guess as to what motivations Beth's captors had. We'll find out next Sunday and then judge it from there.

Maggie is one of my favorite characters, but her failure to mention her sister even once of her own accord when we're already 3-4 episodes into season 5 is rubbing me the wrong way. At first I understood that she didn't want to talk about Beth or Hershel, because it hurts too much, but now that she's leaving to go to DC? Even when Daryl told her he was adamant in her survival, she doesn't even put up a fight to stay and search for her? What kind of sister does that..I've already started to like Beth more than Maggie after that stunt. And it's not just Maggie, the whole group seems to have given up on Beth. Right now it seems the only person who really misses Beth, who wants to find her and believes in her ability to survive is Daryl.
Seeing as she is wearing scrubs, I'm assuming they're running some backwards hospital, or they're experimenting on people who are about to turn. Makes sense that Beth would have some medical knowledge/training due to her father being a veterinarian.

Not really. In a true ZA this is beyond the most realistic outcome. It really doesn't matter what they give us next week because it will be a distorted realism. It will seem real enough to pass off as what would happen, but in truth nothing is more real than her being raped, killed, and tossed aside. This is disgusting, but true. Could it be something else? Yes, but talking from a strictly percentages stand point this is the outcome that should happen hundreds of times before whatever they will come up with. But no one wants to see the sweet teenage girl sexually abused and shot in the head. It's a crappy story and distinctly tasteless. So they will get something else. It likely won't be good, but compared to the realistic alternative it will be leaps and bounds better.

I'm not so sure, TWD has already alluded to rape with Maggie and the Governor, as well as with Carl and that Claimer. I don't think that they would cover it again unless it would absolutely benefit the story line, and at this point Beth, a pretty and innocent blonde girl, being taken for sexual reasons is too predictable imo.

What I like about the new show runner is that he strives to be unpredictable in his direction with the story. I don't think there would be so much buildup as to what happened to Beth, and who took her, if he was just going to go with the stereotypical "pretty girl is taken and used as a sex slave" route. People have already predicted this, so for this reason I don't think that will happen.

You know what they say
If it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck.
I'm not even arguing over whether one is more probable than the other. Yes, realistically I would say the rape-murder situation is more likely. All I have been saying here is that Beth's situation isn't necessarily unrealistic (as in realistically impossible..)
I'm not going to judge a situation as unrealistic while currently knowing almost nothing about it.

Have no idea why you have to be specific. Seems a little racist.
Anyway, I agree. Why the hell isn't she trying to look for Beth before heading off to D.C.? Like, find her, then go to D.C. That way, you know she's safe.
Not sure how I feel about the phrase "All she wants is the Asian D"... Though hey, not often you have an Asian male sex symbol in American media. Not that I'm sure people consider Glenn a 'sex symbol,' but in any case, it's a change.
In any case, we know Glenn is going to cheat on her and run off with a girl named Lucille.
All she wants is the Asian D it seems lol.

We don't even know why she was abducted yet..

Why else would someone abduct a young girl?
To have tea, and blueberry scones.

! SPOILER ALERT !
Glenn gets wrecked.
Maybe when she was abducted, they gave her a makeover.
hopefully, him dating Maggie doesn't seem right.
She is so out of his league.

Maggie just wanted some dick and Glenn came along, she was thirsty and now he tore her a new one so she loves him.
The relationship is a lot better in the comics though.

Now here is the real question
Beth
VS
Maggie.

If i had to guess, a lonely guy picked up a pretty girl and took her to the hospital to "take care" of her.

Maggie. Beth looks too young and she's got a mouse face.
I would guess it's probably something along those lines.
What a flattering picture you decided to use for Maggie there.
I guess I can't really say I have a preference. They're both good looking in their own ways. I like Beth's eyes.
....Pretty much.
I loled.
Maybe she hates beth as much as I do. I really dislike the character and her crying face where not a single tear falls lol
Then it must be Kenny's son?
This... This is beautiful.
Have no idea why you have to be specific. Seems a little racist.

They dont even know where to look. For all they know, she could be anywhere.
I think Glenn is very attractive.
Agreed, he is a fine looking human.
