Raccoon Vs. Log

That's right! THE two most indisputably popular characters in all of the Walking Dead Games. Which is better?

Raccoon!

or Log...

For me, it's no contest. Raccoon all the way. Charismatic, nimble, and a loving mother (or father, I'm not sure which). Log is so unappealing. Just sits around doing nothing all day. Never talks to anyone, like it's too good for people. And the only memorable thing it ever did was (determinately) die in a fire.

Team Raccoon all the way!

  • Team Log!

The log had some much potential, that stupid raccoon didn't even compare to the character development that the log did! The log sacrificed itself for the picture of lee or drawing of Kenny.

That Raccoon was wiling to let everyone die! The log at least gave Christa a place to sit when not on his big brother log.

That damn Raccoon wouldn't give itself for food to Mike, that is being selfish!

That Raccoon stalked Clem for her whole life...probably lured the walker that killed Lee to that spot...

I think they both have their merits. But the raccoon is just too wiley and deceptive for my tastes. Fools you into thinking you can catch it and then runs off, making you feel both hungry and defeated. With the log, what you see is what you get. I appreciate that kind of honesty, you know? Then again, the log can seem pretty passive and hesitant to act, like it hasn't really figured out where it fits in so it sort of lets you decide how to interact with it. I mean it's always there when you need it, but it also seems like it won't actually do much to help you. The raccoon, on the other hand, seems pretty on top of its game and has everything figured out. But again, it's a wild card and you can't really be sure where its allegiance falls.

  • Team Raccoon!

Raccoon is a family man (or woman) and protects its kids, like a real man (or woman) should.

Raccoon still holds onto hope, and feels like life is still worth living.

Log is the most depressing character in the game, if it didn't die when it did it would have probably driven Clem and Christa to suicide.

Log is also probably the one who got Chritsta killed. Notice those guys came out of the WOODS, where log is from? That's pretty big coincidence.

Is this sort of stuff gonna turn into the gang threads again? Where they pretty much clop up the forums?

  • I think so lol.

  • ...I'm completely cool with that.

  • Team Rock.

He is pretty subtle, you didn't even mention him and he was in both of these scenes. He's a real hard hitter, and a go getter if you give him a little push. He's always around and willing to pitch in if you can get to him. He is pretty hard headed, though. But in the end he is reliable and that's all I could really ask for.

  • What? Team Rock? Get that nonsense out of here! This is a serious debate about a raccoon and a log, and I don't appreciate you making light of it. =P

  • I think Raccoon's responsible for the entire plague. Why else would Telltale place so many peculiar references to this evil demon of a character in the game? She's clearly up to no good.

Log is harmless albeit extremely lazy. Can't say I'm fond of either. Grass is probably my favourite, however. At least Grass can be used as a sustainable food source for certain creatures, as well as cover. He's a nice guy.

  • Well I thought it was creative.

  • Too nice. He lets everyone walk all over him.

  • Gotta go for log. He seems like he could kick racoons ass.

  • both, i saved the raccon, and i tried to burn the pic of lee.

  • "Raccon or the Log?"

    The Dildo...

  • Team racoon.

Most developed secondary character in the series that hasn't died yet

What the hell you guys are talking about? Team Tree all the way! Log is just a character that copied Tree.

  • Thanks Viva, I appreciate the support.

    (?)Rock114 will remember this.

  • The log losts its alive status for the development of the racoon. Log wins here.

  • The problem isn't so much raccoon versus log, it's that the writing of those characters was just really inconsistent.
