Do you think they will put references to the game in the TV Series?

Lee reanimated as a walker (At least it looks a lot like him):

I know its not cannon but adding little nods and references that the video game series exists would be interesting

  • Perhaps, though the best thing about the show is - Since its a separate universe from the comics. It is possible that Lee never got bitten, retrieved Clementine and met up with Christa and Omid on the outskirts of Savannah and are still surviving now. I don't see why Clementine and Lee couldn't be characters in the television show if different events occurred to them.

  • I think him as a walker kinda confirms him and his story's existence.

  • That's not Lee Everett. At least it's not been confirmed. It's simply just an actor playing a walker, who happened to look like him. Besides if he became a walker in Savannah that would require ignoring most of the players choice to shoot him, and the fact he was possibly handcuffed and the official fact that Savannah is far away from pretty much all the locations in The Walking Dead show.

  • Its probably an Easter Egg. The resemblance is to much for it to be a coincidence.

  • Well...I highly doubt it, I mean there's tons of zombies - Even one that looked like Jim Carrey. That doesn't mean if he were to ever be in The Walking Dead, that he would not be able to play a character because of the resemblance. It's simply a coincidence.

  • yea i doubt that they will do it also that walker looks nothing like lee other the fact that they are both black....

  • Isn't that pic older than the game itself? And if not, I'm fairly sure it's older than Lee's death.

I doubt that happens. AMC and Kirkman, they don't care about the game, Kirkman once said he found action figures the coolest merchandise, even mentioning the game in the same sentence.

Kirkman wants the money, the game can get off his ass for what he cares.

  • just make a fan fiction for that. No need to wait on kirkman to do it lol. Everyone over at fanfiction.com does it. They have crossover stories too.

  • Don't bring that type of comment here it has many similarities with the shirt besides many characters in the comic don't look like their TV counterparts (ex: Carol, Tyreese, Lori etc.)

  • They already made some references to it, like Michonne planning to go to Macon to find The Governor. I don't think they'll go further than that. I don't expect to see Lee, Clem or Kenny in the show, though I like those "easter eggs".

  • Does Telltale advertise this game? You would think the best time to advertise would be during the commercials. I don't think i 've ever seen a Television commercial for it.
