no fallout? or xcom?(although it had a few bad games it is still one of the best imo) or civilization? or the witcher? or.. you know what forget it this list is incomplete but from that list i am gonna have to go with either mass effect, gta or elder scrolls
I can't really vote for just one thing, but out of these I'd go with Mass Effect (ignoring the original endings of ME3, of course), Mortal Kombat and The Elder Scrolls. Those are mostly my personal preferences.
Also, I second @Pipas' statement. No Dragon Age - no good "Best Game" poll. And no, I'm not biased... mostly.
Soooo, zelda sucks, TWD sucks, and TES sucks? you have no taste in gaming.
He just said he doesn't think any of those are the "Best Franchise in Gaming" (which is an incredibly loud claim to make, in fact). He didn't say they sucked. Also, funny you put Zelda, TES and TWD into one line, despite the fact that the first two are games known both for their gameplay and story (which includes characters, dialogue, etc) elements, while TWD is known only for latter.
I meant the best franchise out of those games, not the best ever.
It all boils down to a personal taste. Each of those has its pros and cons, certain advantages and disadvantages. So, I don't really think it's possible to choose the best franchise out of them, while staying objective and unbiased as much as possible.
