Why did Clem summon Lee?
Just curious to see what you guys think was the reason Clem subconsciously imagined conversing with Lee. I personally think, that it was her brain trying to protect itself. All of the things she's seen/done added up, so much so that, the severity of her wound sent her brain a strong message. Message being; that she needs some reassurance that this life is worth living. Lee being the only person she has truly loved/trusted in her post-apocalyptic life, delivered that message. I think that without her seeking/finding Lee, that she would have lost all humanity she had left.

there isnt any message behind it it was flashback....,
No way. She was different compared to season 1 Clem. She wakes up surprised. She says; "Duck's bit" like she had been in that situation, and already knew what was going to happen.
EDIT: That would be extremely disappointing if it was, just a simple flashback. I mean the way she gets shot/wakes up, and then goes to sleep/wakes up. I mean, the fuhh. I'm thinking she was in like a mini-coma or something. They could've made it seem more like a flashback, imo. Like instead of giving the option to tell Lee that; Duck's gonna die, or "it's not like a cold".
I'm guessing that she may have had similar dreams before - only now we get to see one of them. Subconsciously feeling the buckling and hearing the engine of Kenny's truck reminds her of the last time she was in a vehicle.
But I think Clem was always more wise than you'd give her credit for. By Episode 3, she's already seen how nasty her guardians can be, and after seeing people die right in front of her she's fully aware that the same fate could happen to her and her friend.
Yeah, I guess I "read between the lines" a little too much with this game. And often see things that may not be there.
Well, reading between the lines is what this forum is for.
Keep it up.
And an interesting interpretation (but I admit unlikely) is that that scene was a flashback (for the audience's benefit) of the dream that Clem was having in the RV while Lee was having his Zombie Clem dream. I just think it's cool to interpret it as both characters were having dreams that reflected their fears about the future, even if it's unlikely they coincided.
I think it's because she was starting to change after all she has witnessed during season 2 and maybe she was starting to lose herself, to doubt herself and thus the Lee flashback is a way to go back to her childhood, to who she was before this extreme change occured inside her. She couldn't find comfort or shelter around her so it makes perfect sense going back to what must have been the most stable moment she has known since all this started. I think Lee is the last reminder of her childhood,of days where she felt safe and protected and I think that she completely lost her innocence the moment she lost him.
Except the memory she chooses to go back to is one of the most traumatic moments of Season 1. It's more likely that she's thinking of this moment precisely because it's a crisis and she's trying to figure out how Lee dealt with it so she can handle her current problem.
