I've read a lot of books, but now not as much as I used to. Some of my favorite series is Harry Potter, The Hobbit, The Great Gatbsy, and The Book Thief Right now, I'm reading the ASOIAF series, which have to be the best fantasy series I've read since Harry Potter.
I try to read around 6-8 books a month. Currently I'm reading Never Fade from The Darkest Minds series.
Right now for English class we are reading the Metamorphosis and Night.
The last book I read was "Lord of the flies" and that was a few months ago.
Right now I'm reading a book on Dependent Personality Disorder and Evasive Personality Disorder.
Aren't I a bucket of fun?
Oh, I loved The Metamorphosis. Fun thing somebody did was compare it with David Cronenberg's 'The Fly.'
I got a C in Metamorposis last month.
I'd recommend some Albert Camus. Preferably The Fall or The Stranger, both are astonishing short novels.
Also, I think I've posted this elsewhere, but Piotr Dumala is a really good animator and he did a short film on Kafka:

I don't know why, but I had trouble with 'The Fall,' I loved 'The Stranger,' and even 'The Plague,' but even more I loved his essay "The Myth of Sisyphus." Honestly, if anybody is going to start with philosphy, I might recommend that book first. Opening line: "There is only one serious philosophical question: suicide."
I feel like it's pretty sad during the end...
I'm going to guess you didn't like it. :P
We had to read an article on Franz Kafka, pretty sad life, always pushed people away, always wanted his fathers approval....It's sad.
I haven't gotten around to The Myth of Sisyphus, but my dad recommended it.
I was reading A Happy Death but stopped due to my weird work schedule, really want to finish it though. It's neat though, cause I've heard it was one of Camus' first books yet the last one to be published.
I like my books weird and complex. I'm sure you've also heard of Kurt Vonnegut as well. Now there's a weird guy. Tried to stay on Slaughterhouse Five but, damn, was it elaborate as all hell.
damn. any particular type?
The Tipping Point and The Red Badge of Courage.
Young adult, but sometimes I go into NA, Adult, or MG.
ahh man i really want to read books, but i dont know really which ones to read. i have some in mind but they are very advance and since i still dont really have a very advanced english, i sometimes dont get something and get confused and get bored. really want to read, well start reading.
