Far Cry 4 thoughts
Picked up Far Cry 4 on Day 1 and so far, I'm loving it. It is a unique FPS and so far, I'm having a blast. I just wanted to hear how other people on the forum's thoughts on it. I know Ubisoft has been pretty bad this year but I think Far Cry is one of their positives. What do you guys think of FC4?

It's amazing.
I haven't got it yet, waiting till Christmas.
Their only big fuck up was Watch Dogs and even then it was a great game...Gameplay wise.
Well I don't really hate Unity like so many others but I realize the problems with it. Plus some responses they have said and whatnot haven't made this the best year for Ubisoft.
I have had my own complaints of it but it's a great game none the less. My complaints of it have been complaints that a true AC fan would have not someone who is dumb enough to not realize you need to hold a button to pull your weapon out or know how to parry after the game told you.
I know you've said none of this but these are complaints I've heard...
Ubisoft hasn't said everything they should have but it doesn't mean Ubisoft is a bad company.
(I'm not upset just to tell you, you didn't say most of this but it's what others have said.)
Its all (Berry) good, I can understand you're annoyance to complaints. Don't think Ubisoft is a bad company by any means, FC4 is just one of the many examples on why Ubisoft is awesome. But I think its had some missteps that they can easily bounce back from if they tried.

But yeah, people are still sore about Watch Dogs and is dissing every game Ubisoft makes for little mistakes...I guess because it's the trend...

For the most part, yes.
However the gameplay was fun...I was pissed about no multiplayer except competitive.
I haven't played or seen reviews for it, but a part of me knew it was going to be bad. Most people were hyping it to holy hell because of the graphics and hurr durr hak wit phone... it seems like no one cared about the story.
I don't even have the slightest idea of what the story is about.
The Story? Imagine the most generic action movie story you can think of. That's Watch Dogs.
A game filled with terrible gameplay, terrible story and filled with bugs.

i looks freaking awesome. i didnt know far cry was something like that. since the previews for the second one i always thought it was just some bullshit hunting game survival game. but i was wrong. question, do you have to kill animal, or can you just avoid them and not have to kill them or you HAVE TO???
You need to use animal skins to upgrade things like weapon holsters, your backpack, the amount of health syringes you can carry and other things like that so killing them is part of the game.
They can also attack you so you might need to kill them in self defense, yesterday a rhino started chasing me and i didn't have enough ammo to kill it so i ran as fast as i could and thankfully got away from it :P
I agree with the Watch Dogs story being very generic, i didn't feel much satisfaction after i finished it. I did think some of the hacking elements where fun but the story could have been much better.
damn. i know its a game but it just feels bad to kill an aminal. specially those that i know are now very rare and very few. like tigers, elephants eagles, well on the new game, and rhinos.

oh lol, but yea he complains about killing the animals.
ha well im not exactly complaining, i just love animals, and i just feel bad. weird yeah its a video game, but i kinda know some shit like does happen in real life. but i guess if you have to have to i will most likely do it, though i would kinda hesitate
