How do you tag users with punctuation in their names?

Tagging a name without it is easy, such as @Flog61. But I recently tried to tag Charon-J in a comment and this happened: @Charon-J.

How do I make the entire name red and tagged? Thanks.

    I don't think you can, but you can do @ and then a users profile number. If you go onto whoever you want to tags profile, there will be a number in the URL right after where it says /profile/ if you do @1484801 < (my profile number) it will tag them.

    Anyway, thanks for the workaround. Hope a better system is made eventually.
