Telltale wrote themselves into a corner by making a prequel that's canon to the comics
The problem with making a wolf among us season 2 is that the characters have nowhere left to go until the events of Fables issue number 1 happens and There nothing in first couple of issues of Fables that even comes close to suggesting that Bigby and Snow went on tons of adventures together and fought a lot of fable villains for a 2 or 3 seasons of an episodic video game lol
Snow's big story arc about going from a secretary to a deputy mayor is also a going to be a huge problem for a potential wolf among us season 2 since After Snow becomes deputy mayor she starts to run Fabletown with an iron fist and Bigby's job starts to get a lot more boring to the point where even he admits that has not seen a lot of action. My point is after Snow's rises to power things in Fabletown get a lot less exciting and murders are very rare so I don't know how they can make wolf among us season 2 work without completely contradicting the comics.
The only way I can see a wolf among us season 2 working is if Telltale decides to make the wolf among us non canon and take the series in its own direction.

and there is nothing in those issues or the volumes i have read that even suggest the events of twau (other than crane being in paris but it was never really explained until twau) does that make it not possible? obviously not because here we are today plus snow doesn't even have to be involved she could just be in the background doing her own thing and it doesn't even have to involve murder also you forgot the lol at the end of the title
I love the wolf among us so season 2 being potentially hurt the by the canon of the comics is no "lol" matter.
Just because Snow became Deputy Mayor, it doesn't mean Bigby's job will get boring.
Yes, Snow ran Fabletown effectively (to the point of her being labelled as "Ice Queen" by other Fables), but that doesn't necessarily mean it would be all smooth sailing for her administration, there can be problems (not just murder) that Bigby and Snow did not anticipate.
I'd imagine it would be at least some years (and not right away) after TWAU Season 1 events that Snow's administration started working like a well-oiled machine.
And by the way, where does Bigby admit he has not seen a lot of action? It's been a long while since I've read the first volume, but if you can pinpoint which volume he says that, it would be nice.
There's nothing that suggests that it hasn't happened either. IMO, if there will be a S2 it will focus more on Bigby than Bigby and Snow doing something in Fabletown or maybe even out of Fabletown. It will give them more room to make a story without interfering canon.
Like I've said before, I would think the best thing is to make a S2 non-canon story with no references to S1. Gives them lots of space to make an amazing story.
Bigby makes it very clear that he is living a uneventful and boring life while Snow is running Fabletown and I hate to say it but if wolf among us stays true to the comic canon season 2 will be a massive let down
Sure they could explore Snow not having smooth sailing with her new administration in wolf among us season 2 but even that seems uneventful compared to the corruption and craziness of the Ichabod crane administration
As you point out they CoolGuyJ they don't have to focus on murder but once again it stars feeling like even more of a step down from what we saw in wolf among us
" make a S2 non-canon story with no references to S1"

if that's the case why not just do a spin off game of Cinderella because i would love to play as her
I sometimes wish that The Wolf Among Us takes place in an alternate- or parallel universe so the writing isn't so restrained.
Well it'll take a while for Snow to get into the swing of things. Also the game is set roughly 20 years before the events of the comics so there is a fair amount of wiggle room for more. And like Jewfreeus said:
TWAU was made WAY after the comics started, Bill didn't anticipate TWAU happening when he wrote the beginning issues and he admitted that he LOVED the game, so if he thinks the story will work then it will work.
Also, does everyone forget that Bigby and Snow have been working together for over 200 years? They never really mention things that happened in the past, just because Bigby doesn't give a glamourous description of his job as Sheriff doesn't mean it was boring, he might've said that to keep up an appearance.
Remember that Bigby is also Fabletown's spymaster and he sends ppl like Cinderella and Mowgli on operations all the time, his job has a lot of secrets, a lot of them he keeps from Snow (at least until they quit their jobs and get married, it's implied in the intro of Issue 145 that Bigby told Snow some secrets about his job...)
Damn, seeing Lan Medina's artwork from when Fables was just beginning reminds me of how long ago this all started....
We've come a long way since then!
Bigby does lots of off the books illegal things later in the comics. So they can easily work off that or just make it take place 1 year after Season 1 during the 20 year length from The Wolf Among Us to the comics
I meantion this ^ in my comment below dude...
