To suggest that our attraction foundation is still based on things that we have shown are not absolute is ridiculous.
Society affects so much: hairy bodies 'should' be attractive, but many women, if not most, from polls, disapprove of them and want their partners to be clean shaven.
The 'ideal' of female beauty also looks far different now that it did 200 years ago. Human sexual attraction changes often, and thus there's not one ideal or correct way of being attracted to something.

Again, I said that if we were to function purely on instinct, and nothing more, this is the type of man we would be naturally attracted to. I believe that though we don't operate only on instinct, that the core elements of what females look for in a mate still hold value for many whether they're aware of it or not. I then say that this observation is excluding personal preference, but when personal preference comes into play, which it always does, that it changes what one values and looks for in a man, and that's perfectly alright.
