I did this video as best as I could. Who doesn't love Kenny?
This guy been through hell (2 years to be exact). He lost his wife, his son, his girlfriend. Man, I'd be mentally unstable if I were him...

Great video and great character but now everyone hate's Kenny for some reason.

Even the most avid supporters of Kenny know that loads of people don't like him at all.
Anyway, just to point out that everyone's been through two years of hell. Others have lost just as much as him without going mental.
Telltale just likes Kenny so has only focused on his losses.

Lots of people have disliked Kenny for a long time. They left when the KDB formed last December because it was a very oppressive environment for people who didn't like him.
Telltale giving us the option to be rid of him in episode 5 increased their confidence and they have begun posting again.
Lots of people still like Kenny. Lots don't.
There is always that one motherfucker like you that has to ruin the fun for the others.

He said everyone seems to hate Kenny, I said that's not true and people do like him as much. Just people have become more comfortable in expressing dislike, so more accurate numbers are now being shown, and it's around 5050.
I can't recall any other characters who lost their wife and son, and then lived long enough for their replacement family to die as well. Maybe you can enlighten me or perhaps you are generalizing as usual?
Clementine lost both her parents, her surrogate father, her second surrogate father, a baby she helped bring into the world and has been parted from her surrogate mother.
Nick lost both his mother and his uncle, the only members of his family remaining, in the space of a few weeks.
Jane lost her sister and parents.
Luke lost his parents, and all of his friends from the Cabin including his best fiend for many years in about a week.
Lee lost his brother and parents in one day.
Molly lost her parents and sister.
Christa lost her boyfriend and child.
Well no because most of those characters didn't actually lose a kid, they just lost a loved one in general. Losing a child is more devastating than anything. But you are right about Christa, she did lose her partner and her newborn. You can see the toll that it took on her physically and emotionally, at least Kenny seemed to.come out of his deep depression.
if you only cared about the loss of a child then why reference Kenny losing his wife and girlfriend?
And when does Kenny recover from his depression? I must have missed that revelation.
Christa protects Clem, single handedly, for 16 months, after the death of her boyfriend and experiencing the death of her child. kenny would not have been able to do so seeing the way in which he reacted when Katjaa, Duck and Sarita die and when he thinks AJ is dead. Christa moves on and keeps Clem safe. That's remarkable.
And I think saying almost all of those examples don't count because they haven't lost a kid is ridiculous. Clementine has lost so many people, as have Luke and Lee, and suddenly none of them count because the person they lost wasn't 2 feet shorter?
The bond between a child and a parent is strong, yes, which makes it all the more impressive that Luke, Jane, Lee and Molly stay functioning after losing theirs.
It's obvious that Clem, by virtue of being the most prominent character in the games, has 'lost' the most among all the characters without actually dying.
But apparently one dude's experience trumps the suffering of literally anyone else, even a little girl who's been forced to experience all these horrors.
Personally i don't see why you anti Kenny fans are posting in this thread, this guy made a video about Kenny. Either you liked it or you didn't i enjoyed the beginning, as someone with PTSD i can relate with how Kenny feels in real life.

This post seems like you're begging for a fight, he said "who doesn't love Kenny" as an exaggeration, people tend to say things like that about things they like, obviously there are going to be people who don't like Kenny.
He could be dead or alive.
How bout Clem. She lost her parents. Then Lee, then her surrogate parents Christa and Omid, then almost the entire cabin group, plus kenny and walt and sarita.
And she gets most of the reponsibility of the group thrust on her, and then most of the blame if things go bad. And shes fuckin 11. I dont see clem taking her anger or sadness on random group members, or strangers besides.
Kenny, is a grown assed man, who yells at children for no reason. And a bossy a-hole to boot.
Lots of assholes are dead. E.g. Caesar, Catullus, Louis the 13th, or Marie Louise of France.
That doesn't stop them being assholes. They're just rotting assholes, which is what Kenny is now in my game.

i Dont dislike Kenny.we have had our differences,but I dont hate him.
He was Lee's right hand man, and stood by Lee several times, as well with clem, i alsways favored Kenny, and as things got rough, I still favored kenny.
The decision at the end of the game was hard, and though i might have made the best decision, i feel like i betrayed myself.
what Kenny has gone through alot ( like most players) but you've seen him since the start, and you know the burden he caries.
Kenny was the closest thing to "family" in this game, and though i still dont know weather or not i made the right choice, i am glad he is in a better place alongside his family.

Seriously though, Kenny is probably one of the most controversial characters I've seen in quite some time
Just the mention of his name, or the words "like" and "Kenny" in the same sentence are enough to destroy a thread, or come pretty close to it
If to you his character is unlikeable then you don't have to hate him just don't like him.
Hate is extreme dislike. I find Kenny in season 2 extremely dislikable, hence hate.
I also think he's poorly written and damaged the narrative integrity.
I can hate whatever character I want. You can't tell me that I just have to 'dislike' him because you love him.
