I don't really collect games, but I do keep my favorites. Still have my original Deus Ex and Half-Life discs for PC.
Black Label Final Fantasy 7 and 8(Let a friend borrow Tactics, and bought War of the Lions so I never bothered getting it back), Front Mission 3, Gran Turismo, Resident Evil 2 and 3, and a little game called Dead Ball Zone rounds out my PSX games.
For Dreamcast I have RE Code: Veronica, MvC2, and I too have Shenmue but I need to have it buffed because it won't play anymore.
The only Xbox game I have left is Doom 3 Collector's Edition, and I sold The Orange Box for 360 LIKE AN IDIOT because I sold my 360, and now I would have to pay like $40 bucks for the PS3 version. I should do it anyway, all those games are amazing.
I think my sister took all our old NES games and left them somewhere.
Might be Ducktales 2 for nes, next might be the unlicensed collection I have like bible games for nes, mega mans.I have the original Zelda nes games in gold and grey, and a green repro cart of mr.gimmick. all in all I have about 150 nes games.I also have the original metal gear solid for ps.
I don't collect games as much as I used to (except on digital sites, I have tons of those). I have been collecting Telltale's games since they started though, so I still collect those. Here's my Telltale collection (it's slightly outdated though, as I now have the Wolf Among Us and Walking Dead Season Two PC/Mac collectors DVDs too):
I also have Double Fine's games that have been released for PC/Mac on disc (Psychnauts, Brutal Legend: Limited Edition, Costume Quest, and Stacking), the Monkey Island Special Edition Collection, Sam and Max and Day of the Tentacle combo disc, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, and a handful of CDs for PC and Dreamcast, and some Gamecube, Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Neo Geo Pocket, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS games.
My most precious game is called Tales of the Abyss.
I got my first copy in 2006, and then after it crapped out on me in 2010, I bought a second copy for the PS2.
I recently drove all over my town to try and find a copy of it for the 3DS when it was re-released.
It's the game that actually inspired me the most to try and write books and make my own story/world. It taught me a lot actually. So, needless to say, it's my most valuable game. I love it.
Other than that, I have most Resident Evil games. Minus RE: Zero, RE3, and RE: Code Veronica. Other than that, I have like two different copies of Resident Evil 4, and I am in like the top 1000 players on the Xbox 360 for Resident Evil 6 Mercenaries... XD

LOL I know what you mean. I'm getting to the point where I'm getting a bid sad because I have so many games I know I will never be able to play through again due to time constraints from life.
Oh, another game series I absolutely love. Metroid Prime. I have the trilogy on the Nintendo Wii, it's probably my favorite game for the Wii.
I stayed away from the Wii/ WIi U, even though i always wanted Mario Kart, but not enough to buy a console to play it. Its not even the money, its the real estate, My game room is so bad right now it looks like cord hurricane with network wiring everywhere. I really want to clean it up but i don't really have a plan, on cord concealment, i have my consoles hooked up to one television in my game room. So it looks like a disaster.
I really hate that PS4 is not cross compatible with PS3. Really guys? I don't want to have both hooked up at the same time. Sometimes i may want to play that game on PS2, which is backwards compatible with a PS1. Lately though, my love for collecting has died, there just isn't anything else i really want other than a few cheap copies of Sudokien 2 so i can trade them for things i do want.

I have had my Wii since 2007, it's like my most treasured gaming system. XD I am in the same boat though, I would almost buy the Wii U just to be able to play Mario Kart and Super Smash bros. But I compromised and bought a Nintendo 3ds to play a few of the same games. I know the feeling of a crazy game console arrangement, I have my Nintendo 64, Nintendo Wii, and PS2 all on my dresser underneath my TV, I get all dem wires so confused! XD
I know! And on the Xbox One as well. I loved that about the Wii and PS2, both were backwards compatible! Xbox 360 was to a degree, but I miss so many of my old games from my childhood. Donkey Kong 64, Banjo and Kazooie, etc. I was a Nintendo kid. XD

There is just no way to organize it without it looking bad. I thought calling a professional cabling company, but that is a little extreme. I still want to though.
I never got into N64, i was more into Sega/Playstation. Even though I do have a original copy of STREET FIGHTER 2!!! on SNES.

I have a lot of games that I consider very valuable. I have Wolfenstein 3d in it's original box when it first came out on CD. Have all the Dooms, Quakes, etc pristine in original box.
Diablo 2 Collectors Edition is probably my prized collection. It actually came with a d+d style tabletop game in the box.
I enjoyed Halo 1. Since this was long before MCC came out, I was excited to try out multiplayer, but now all the PC servers have some dumb mod and it's just unplayable. And even the Master Chief Collection done fucked it up with the way they structured multiplayer.

I absolutely despise COD. Hell, I'm honestly thinking of just giving up gaming. Triple A gaming has become a joke (looking at you, Ubisoft). I've been playing Assassin's Creed Unity and I keep wondering what kind of drugs the devs must have been on to lock off IN GAME content and make you download a companion app. Why? What purpose does that serve other than to make it a huge inconvenience for players? I actually had to look up puzzle solutions and I still wasn't told how to unlock the chests. It's lazy and pointless. Let's face it, games aren't built to be fun anymore. They're built to appear awesome so that parents will fork out hundreds for gaming consoles for their kids. This industry is gonna fall flat if this is what it turns into.
I've been playing the Halo 2 campaign on Halo MMC and it's the most fun I've had in gaming. I wish game developers would just focus on making videos games a good time again.
I just found out that Law & Order: Legacies was released on disc in Europe, so I picked that up. I think my Telltale and Double Fine disc collection is now complete, since as far as I know only Poker Night 1 & 2, Hector: Badge of Carnage, and Puzzle Agent 2 were never released on disc for Telltale, and only Psychonauts, Brutal Legend, Costume Quest, and Stacking were ever released on disc for Double Fine. If anyone knows any other release for either of these companies (in any region, even non-English, as I have the German only Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent release) feel free to let me know.
I collect the "Tales of" series avidly and my most valuable piece would be the original Tales of Symphonia for Gamecube. It took me almost a year to find and this was before the collector's edition was announced.
Comments
my steam library is basically my game collection so many games i haven't even played yet
I don't really collect games, but my most valuable to me sentimental wise would be my persona 4
Maybe,
The walking dead,Mario games, the legend of Zelda games,Kirby games, and the Sims games.

It's actually not that bad, it has an interesting story.
That "ending" in 3 though.
I sort of collect Lego video games.
Now we have 4 to look forward to...
I don't really collect games, but I do take a lot better care of my "The Elder Scrolls: Anthology." Than I probably should.
Indoctrination Theory pretty much fixes the ending I've found.

I got Tales of Destiny 1, 2, 3 and some other Tales games. I got so many games and i've never even played half of them.
Too bad it's been confirmed not true.

Halo Combat Evolved and Halo on PC. Unfortunately, Halo CE multiplayer is dead on PC and my computer can't run Halo 2.
I collect.

I have others..
they released Halo 2 on PC? I know they did Halo 1, it was awesome.

Halo 2 was the best multiplayer game ever made. I like it a lot better than COD, cod just too stupid for me.

You wouldn't believe how long it took to find a good price on this. It took me about 6 months to find, but man, was it worth it.
