Choices You Would Like To Have

So what choices would you like to have? Whether humorous or serious, it'd be interesting to see.

I saw on another thread a choice which sprang to mind. What if you could choose to shoot Bonnie whilst you were "defending Luke from walkers". If you shoot her, she dies and Luke manages to have enough time to climb out yet still saddened at her death and shocked you did so but understanding.

If you don't shoot Bonnie, the ice collapses however Bonnie manages to swim out and blames you later for not be willing to aid Luke whilst Luke was not able to swim due to his leg.

But what other choices would you have liked to have?

That's an interesting choice, it would be like one of those 'Who do you save?' but instead it's 'Do you kill someone to let someone else live?' (a bit like Carver's mind-set).

I would like to have been able to stop Kenny from murdering Carver. However Carver would still have to die so instead maybe Luke could have grown some balls and shot Carver to stop Kenny from going insane, or Clementine could shoot him.

  • Be able to side with Luke and shoot Carver instead of letting kenny have his way with him.

I think Kenny deserves to get revenge after what Carver did to his eye.

  • Yes, you think, and I disagree, hence the choice aspect.

  • I would have liked to have the choice to skip the walker herd and wait until it passes, so in the end the lives of Carlos, Sarah, Nick, and Sarita wouldn't be lost.

  • You wouldn't be talking like that if someone would crush your eye with a walkie talkie...

  • Right, but the person who would make the choice is Clem, not Kenny, as Kenny isn't a playable character.

What you're doing is saying why siding with Luke would be a bad chocie in your opinion: that's fine. That doesn't mean the choice shouldn't exist.

That's like me saying 'if you had been through the same things clem has been through then you would prevent Jane's murder' and using that as a reason why the choice to let Kenny murder her shouldn't be in the game at all.

    Options are good.

You wouldn't be talking like that if someone would crush your eye with a walkie talkie...

  • Even if that was an option Luke wouldn't have shot Carver he just wanted to tie him up...

  • He also suggested shooting.

  • Given Sarah options to use a gun to defend herself once the group leaves the cabin in part 2. Then telling Carlos to man up. And when he complains, let Clem basically tell him this:

Clem: I've been shooting guns, running, fighting and clawing my way along since I was NINE Carlos. She's 15, there's no excuse.

And then letting her have a shot at survival even when Carlos dies...and it'd happen differently, but it should happen, he lasts long enough to die in her place in amid the ruins, at a time where Sarah is capable of coping better and maybe even lasting to Wellington/Carver's.

And in the Kenny option Clem has the option of leaving her with AJ in Wellington and going off with Kenny, or they all go off together on top of the leaving the kids behind.

And please, a shoot Jane option. Just to have it. Not out of spite but it should be a choice. (I get it's to kind of parallel the Stranger fight but if I want an ending like Season 1 I'll play season 1)

And as far as Season 1 goes...

Lee should be allowed to argue with Kenny if he's pissed over not always being on his side of things that Kenny's done the same thing to him. I like Kenny and all but as effective as the "She's family' comment is, there should be a moment where Lee can put that out there like Ben did.

"One Kenny, I'm bit, you'r arguing to a man on borrowed time. (Or if he's hiding the bite, he says Clem's gone) Two...you have been there a lot, but not always. First on Hershel's farm then (Dialogue plays out based on your big choices with Kenny, focusing on all the big choices obviously)...but I always looked out for you. All of you. Now I need you one last time. The boat's gone...Clem isn't."

    Or something like that.

  • Then why didn't he just shot him in the head while Kenny was going to pick up the crowbar?

    He also suggested shooting.

  • Because Kenny didn't want him to and Kenny's the most important character in the group and series.

How should I know why he didn't? My point is that Telltale could easily have made it a choice, and having that choice wouldn't have taken the outcome you wanted for Kenny away from you.

Then why didn't he just shot him in the head while Kenny was going to pick up the crowbar?

  • Let Carver live.

    Shoot to Arvo first.

Warning shot during the Kenny vs Jane fight.

Ask people about things. For exaple, what happened with Mike's ear and who was George.

  • [Shoot Up]

    Like a normal person

  • That too.

  • A decision that results in Clementine saying "Let's not walk on the lake of frozen water, that's stupid," and remaining what all the others in her group aren't: a sensible adult.

    1. [Punch Larry]
    2. [Grab crowbar from Kenny and hit Carver]
    3. [Jump down and help Sarah]
    4. [Shoot Arvo]
    5. [Shoot Bonnie]
    6. [Shoot Mike]
    7. [Hit Becca] whether it be as Shel or Clem
    8. [Kill Lilly]
    9. [Tell Carlos what Chuck told Lee]
    10. [Help Chuck]
    11. [Take off jacket]
    12. [Name baby Lee]
  • these.....every single one of these, shit now i wanna call AJ lee

    * [Punch Larry] * [Grab crowbar from Kenny and hit Carver] * [Jump down and help Sarah] * [Shoot Arvo] * [Shoot Bonnie] * [Shoot Mike]

You don't know how badly I wanted to be given that option in No Going Back. It would have been nice to be given a few names (like Lee, Omid, Alvin, etc.) and chose from that list, it would have been a great choice for the episode and would obviously have a long lasting effect.

  • Have the option to slap Jane on the back of the head after she watches Clem hack the shit out of Nick's face and then says...
"That hatchet seems to get stuck easily, have this screwdriver".

    -_-

  • Revenge isn't the answer, it just a cycle. Look at what happened when Kenny shot Johnny. Goodbye Nice Teacher guy, that whose name i can't remember at this moment.

  • I want the choice to either Leave AJ behind or Keep him when finding him in the car after killing Jane/Kenny

I know they don't want that in because "it's not in Clems character YET" but still I would have liked that choice a lot!

  • and i woulda liked the choice to have Lee not care for such an annoying character like clem (not an attack on you btw, i really just hate her) :P why do you wanna leave a baby behind?

  • As Clem:

    [Cut Pete´s leg anyways]

[Tell Carlos what Chuck told Lee]

[Shoot Carver while pretending you are going to open the door]

[Falcon Punch Kenny to not get Walter killed]

[Shoot Bonnie in the leg to stop her from getting Luke killed]

    [Bitch Slap Becca]

[Run towards Sarah in the herd]

    [Jump Down and save Sarah]

    [Slap/Shoot Jane]

    [Death Stare to Tavia]

[Touch everything when says Tavia not do it]

    [Hug Sarah]

[Make Kenny/Jane/Mike be the last one (like Luke was) crossing the lake and drown]

    [Glare Kenny/Jane/Becca/Wyatt]

    [Shoot Arvo in the deck]

    As Lee:

    [Go with Lily]

    [Punch Ben]

    [Ignore screamings and keep hunting]

    [Punch Larry]

    [NOT give Katjaa a gun]

[Knock out Stranger and drag him outside to make the walkers eat him]

    [Hug Clem before dying]

[Stop Doug from saving Ben/Stop Lily from kiling Carley]

  • well that was his answer...

  • Season 1: "I love you, Clem" just before Lee dies.
"I'll miss you" was good but it wasn't enough.

    Season 2: [Shoot Jane]

    Better: [Shoot everyone except Kenny]

  • [ Shoot All The Haters ]

    Alt text

  • I'd have liked to see that.

    [Hug Lilly]
