They should have had a burial for Lee.

  • Are you being deliberately obtuse? Season 2 had too many token references to Season 1, I don't want more of that.

Um did you forget how many call backs Season 2 made to Season 1. It seems like you're being ignorant of the obvious.

I liked the dream sequence, not because it was emotional, but because Lee does give Clementine a very important piece of advice and foreshadows the conflict between Jane and Kenny. When he says, "Bad things happen to everyone, and it's hard to keep being yourself after they do," while he is supposed to be referring to Lilly, he is indirectly talking about Kenny in Season 2, how he isn't the same person because of everything that has happened to him. And the advice, "Part of growing up is doing what's best for the people you care about, even if sometimes, that means hurting someone else," is a perfect set up for what's about to happen.

Zombie Lee showing up would have been the dumbest thing the writers could do. Hell, I think the dream sequence was dumb as fuck.

  • Yeah, it's a shame that a little boy is left lying beside a tree beside the rotting body of his mother.

It's a shame that a little boy starved all alone in the forgotten attic of his house.

It's a shame that a man is left to rot in a ski lodge, his pooling blood staining the only remaining photograph of him and his lover.

It's a shame that Lilly's father is left to rot in a meat locker.

It's a shame that Carley/Doug was unceremoniously murdered and left as a nasty surprise for Russell.

    Need I go on?

  • It would be foolish for Clem, Christa, and Omid to go back and bury Lee's body. I'm sure that Savannah will stay overrun by zombies and just wouldn't be worth the risk. We got to say goodbye to Lee and that's more than most people get to do in this series. Although, I do agree that a funeral for somebody in a future episode would do some good for Clem's spirit.

  • does it have to be real, it could be a dream sequence. Speaking of which, to me i'm surprised that CLementine doesn't ever think about her parents. She doesn't dream about them, its just weird. My parents been dead for years and i still think about them from time to time.

  • I have no doubt that somebody's gonna die in S3, so a funeral for them would be a nice change of pace. The only time I can think Clem mentions her parents all have to do with talking to Carver (it's all detriment dialogue choices though).

  • I would think her parents would have a role in the story, she would have dreams about them, talk to them, see them dead, see them begging for help. Whatever, hopefully the writers can learn from the mistakes they made in S2 and capitalize on S3.

  • Basically that jewelry store is his grave. Think of the large amount of walkers being the dirt and the store being the coffin.

  • I must have missed the version of Episode 5 where Kenny buried Rebecca's corpse.
