  • Really? Starved for Help, No Going Back and Cry Wolf are some of the best episodes.

  • Starved For Help made me feel like I was confined to the dairy the entire time

Cry Wolf was too short and the action sequences felt cheese its only redeeming feature was the trial.

No Going Back tried way too hard to be like No Time Left and failed miserably the choices and writing were almost as bad Amid The Ruins

  • Okay, you have a point on Cry Wolf, but in starved for help, you were only confined to the dairy because the group had no reason to leave up until the end. And at the end, you were literally confined to the dairy. The point of the story was to escape. If the point was being confined, then In Harm's way definitely should be below Starved for Help.

    1. Starved For Help (best ep., long, emotional, dramatic moments, toughest decisions)
    2. Zer0 Sum (great start, great characters, full of action and fun)
    3. A New Day (perfect start, introduction to characters, good ending)
    4. Long Road Ahead (mysteries, people tragedies, train)
    5. No Time Left (little too short, great final act of tragedy, heartbreaker)
    6. Smoke and Mirrors (darkest ep. of TWAU; underworld, strip club, cheap hotel, climate)
    7. A House Divided (best of TWD s2, Carver, Walter, dinner, hostile Bonnie, minus - wind turbine)
    8. Faith (good start, some parts were super, other parts were boring or confusing)
    9. All That Remains (it was good ep., good continuation, some mysteries were left for later)
    10. A Crooked Mile (not my favourite but ending was very memorable, she stole the show)
    11. Around Every Corner (pretty long but I didn't like the writing, there were lapses, ep. was still interesting)
    12. Iron From Ice (I don't like the graphic, looks poor, lack of "freedom", ending was good, maybe only the start was slow)
    13. Amid The Ruins (ep. had good moments; training with Jane, racoon hunt, minus - tiresome atmosphere, Arvo, dumb deaths)
    14. In Sheep's Clothing (too short, boring unnecessary parts, unsatisfying answers, plus - Colin, last scene, better than IHW)
    15. Cry Wolf (first half of episode was cool, second half - boring and disappointing, I was expecting much more)
    16. No Going Back (pointless wandering, stupid death, Wolventine, good final fight but all endings were f***ed)
    17. In Harm's Way (painful chapter, I don't like it at all)

I just didn't see any progression as far as the group and the story. I also don't think its incredibly realistic for an entire group to be overpowered and almost beaten by 3 people one of them an elderly woman

    1. No Time Left (emotional, well written, goodbye Lee)
    2. No Going Back (yes, I'm aware who made this thread, but I don't care, I love this episode)
    3. Zero Sum (great start to TFTBL, humorous and awesome characters)
    4. Cry Wolf (while one hour, the best episode of TWAU, awesome fight against Bloody Mary when we see Bigby's true form and the mysterious ending)
    5. A House Divided (Kenny, great choices, really well written and the introduction of Carver is great)
    6. In Harms Way (say what you will but I enjoyed this episode and the character of Carver a lot)
    7. A Crooked Mile (the rush to find Crane and Bigby's first real transformation is awesome)
    8. Faith (great start to a great series, also the only episode over two hours long)
    9. A New Day (another great start to a great series, comic book references are a nice touch as well)
    10. Starved for Help (while not much happens, one of my favorite episode to play in TWD and we get to kill Larry)
    11. All That Remains (a good start to Season 2, while slow and the death of Omid, still a well written episode)
    12. Iron from Ice (a good start to GOT, and holy shit that ending)
    13. Smoke and Mirrors (not a bad episode, but not the greatest, and the fight with Beast felt forced)
    14. Long Road Ahead (starts off well, but the entire momentum stops once you get to the train)
    15. In Sheep's Clothing (you had the Jersey Devil, but other than that, very bland episode to me)
    16. Amid the Ruins (terribly written, poor choices, and other than Jane, no character development)
    17. Around Every Corner (filler episode, only important thing that happens is Lee getting bit)
  • You know who made this thread? The hell does that mean?

I'm just saying that I know you're feelings toward No Going Back that's all.

  • If it made you think that, I sincerely apologize, that's not what I was intending. And Episode 3 was great when it came to the writing, I admit that, it had some of my favorite Lee and Clementine moments, but it just suffered from some, in my opinion, bad pacing. It starts off strong with the whole run into town and the mysterious thief, but then once we get to the train, it all just stops. No one else seems to really care about the fact that supplies were in fact going missing even though Lee had proven Lilly right that someone was stealing from the group. And then we have Kenny's denial about Duck's fate, and even though I feel bad for him, he's got to understand that there isn't going to be an exception because Duck was his son, there isn't any exceptions when it comes to getting bit. It's a good episode, and it being where it is doesn't mean I hate it (there's not an episode that I hate, not even Amid the Ruins), but it's just not one of my favorites.

  • No father would want to have to put down their son. His denial about it is believable he's scared for his son. He didn't think anything would phase his family as he said in Episode 1 now he sees everything falling apart and wants to fight it. He's not willing to put his son down on the spot. The train scene was dragged out granted but the puzzle thing added some game play to it

  • Iron From Ice <---- Boring as Fuck

Really? Boring as fuck? I get its your opinion but I don't understand why you would think that. I think you can argue it was a bit boring because it was really introductory, just sort of setting everything up for the rest of the season.I don't get "boring as fuck" though.

  • More understandable, I can see why this game wouldn't be appealing to people who couldn't get into GoT in the first place. Hopefully Telltale will change it in the next couple episodes to be better suited to people who weren't major fans of the franchise like Walking Dead.

Having played nearly all of the Telltale Games (with the two exceptions being Game of Thrones and Puzzle Agent 2), I'm gonna limit mine to my top 20. This changes all the time, so I wouldn't consider this my final list.

    1. No Time Left (The Walking Dead)
    2. The City that Dares Not Sleep (Sam & Max Season 3)
    3. Chariots of the Dogs (Sam & Max Season 2)
    4. A House Divided (The Walking Dead Season 2)
    5. A Crooked Mile (The Wolf Among Us)
    6. No Going Back (The Walking Dead Season 2)
    7. Citizen Brown (Back to the Future)
    8. Zer0 Sum (Tales from the Borderlands)
    9. All That Remains (The Walking Dead Season 2)
    10. What's New, Beelzebub? (Sam & Max Season 2)
    11. Muzzled! (Wallace & Gromit)
    12. Beyond the Alley of the Dolls (Sam & Max Season 3)
    13. The Penal Zone (Sam & Max Season 3)
    14. Long Road Ahead (The Walking Dead)
    15. Faith (The Wolf Among Us)
    16. Rise of the Pirate God (Tales of Monkey Island)
    17. It's About Time (Back to the Future)
    18. A New Day (The Walking Dead)
    19. Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective (SBCG4AP)
    20. Homestar Ruiner (SBCG4AP)

Phew, didn't think I'd actually get this done. Can already imagine placing some of these higher than others or vice-versa but meh, I'll leave it.

  • l hate the fact people still call Around Every Corner a filler episode. You can honestly say the same thing about Starved for Help, only important thing was Larry's death and The Stranger's car. I also see it as the episode where Lee FINALLY took over as the leader of the group. Everyone came up talking to him needing advice. It was at that point everyone had to admit, Lee was the real boss.

    * No Time Left (emotional, well written, goodbye Lee) * No Going Back (yes, I'm aware who made this thread, but I don't care, I love this e

  • I do say the same thing about Starved for Help, but the reason I place it higher was because there were a lot more things that happened in terms of plot than there were in Around Every Corner.

  • Wasn't a big fan of it tbh

    No going back last? Really?

  • Neither was I but ANYTHING is better than Amid The Ruins. I think my main disappointment with No Going Back was because it was the finale.
