I Need Some Help
Okay, I'm doing this massive project in school and I need your help. If you want to help, you just need to answer the question in one of the two Polls depending if you are (or used to be) a Modern War Game player or not. I NEED your honest opinions. Don't think twice. Just answer what you think is correct.
For people who play Modern War Games (mention the game's title in the comments section below).
For people who DO NOT play Modern War Games.
Oh, and also, I apologize in advance if someone feels offended.

USA Seriously? Honestly imo, i think America should just worry about America, and let the rest of you worry about yourself. People should stop asking America for Help since we are so evil. We should stop sending our aid infected with cholera blankets, to africa, i'm sure the Europeans will take over with donations right. People are starting to notice, We should let people fight their own wars, if people are being victimized, or exploited, why should we be the ones to help, we are evil. Let the French do something for once. I gave seven years of my life to protect this nation, the people over seas, but i am a evil storm trooper.
America is the greatest light in this world. What other country has the social change we do? Name one.
Now, let's not fight. I hope you're not serious. Calm down, relax. This is a psicosocial experiment. I even said...
So yeah, I don't want to argue,
but...
By the way, France (a European country), aided USA's Revolutionary War. Yeah... you are welcomed. I need to add that, if it weren't for Christopher Columbus (a European), with the Spanish (a European country), wouldn't have colonized nor modernized the Americas. Also, if it weren't for France, Europe would have had Absolut Rulers for a longer time. Anyhow, Europeans fought our own wars before 1783 (100 years war, Spanish Succession, etc.)
Okay, that's akward. Wich continent did Albert Einsten, Alexander Fleming, Newton, Marie Curie, Picasso and Leonardo da Vinci were born? I mean, this smart people must have came from the greatest light of the world because, you know... science and art! Which country did the Great Depression start? The US of A. Who bitchslapped Hitler? Russia! Russia is not American. Sorry, I had to say "bitchslapp Hitler", I find it funny.
I would like to point out that those aren't really that relevant anymore. Not only were they so long ago they are both examples before America was a world power.
(Honest question:) How so?
You can name a specified amount of good and bad things to come from anything (almost). The place that birthed Albert Einstein also helped Hitler rise to power. You can't judge a book by the first page, nor can you do so by the last (unless it has two pages or something ). As a general rule I would definitely say America is a beacon of light, though I personally wouldn't say it is the greatest because, well, bias and all that.
The rest of your post is very disappointing.
I am not mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe slightly deranged I was more angry that people actually believe that America is this evil country. We do more good work, than anyone. Who sent troops from Kentucky to Ebola Nations? What country was that again?
If you want to go with that logic, why not go back to the start of Roman civilization. Without them, we wouldn't have a free society, a society that worked for the betterment of a empire. How does Christopher Columbus "discovering" america change anything? Lets talk about things that effect us today, not 100s years ago, that have no effect on our lives. Four hundred years ago, slavery was still around in America, lets talk about recent successes, like change in civil liberty.
How about the internet? Without the US, the rest of the world would still be using pen and paper.
Let's name some actual people that made a difference like Oppenheimer, or Gates, or the guy who developed the 486x 66 archetype. People that actually changed how our lives work.
Are you seriously saying the Russians would of defeated Hitler by themselves? IS that what you are telling me?
Establishing America isn't small news.
French Revolution.
I stated that because the only reason that America is America as we know it is via Europe.
French Revolution, 1789. Napoleon Bonaparte expanded the French Empire with it's ideas (more social justice, codes, etc.) all over Europe. Now that's a social change. Russia wasn't under the French Empire, that's why Russia had a Tsar and feudalism until the early 1900's.
Well, I've got to be honest... that's a valid point.
Thanks. I can say the same.
Now, can we have peace before this thread becomes another bashing thread?
Sorry, I didn't want to say that. But, also, in the list, I've put Russians.
A Spanish Nurse/Doctor also got infected from helping the Africans and to cure Ebola.
The Roman Empire was European :P
"Discovering" America.
Okay. I've got to give you that one. Thank you, USA.
No. My intentions weren't that, but the Soviet Union's Stalingrad's Battle was quite epic. That was the tipping point for Nazi Germany's expansion towards the east. I know, D-Day is not forgotten.
I'm sorry if I offended you. This project is a project to see if political opinions are affected by Call Of Duty's video games. A school project.
When using it to diminish America's accomplishments (or providing "evidence" that America doesn't do more than it has recieved or acredited or what have you) it is. Like saying a seeing eye dog is a bad dog because when it was younger it consistantly peed on the floor though it completely stopped doing it later.
Please elaborate.
Although I wasn't. I was just saying that those are relevant because they pretty much created the nation.
Because of America's accomplishments at gaining liberty and freedom, the people of France decided to rise up against their kings without American assistance let me remind you. They led a revolution that gave France it's freedom and pretty much started the type of American freedom in Europe. France merely using America's vision were able to led Europe into a new age of freedom without American help.
I don't understand the context you're using that in. The way I am breaking it down you're using it in response to CraxyGeorge's insinuation that America helps more people while receiving little to nothing in return except angry scowls and enemies. To which my point applies. You can't really insist that we have had extensive help to get to where we are and therefore our current stance is nullified.
Also, I'm not turning this into a bashing thread, measly a discussion one.
You weren't, but it wasn't originally in response to you.
My context is that America isn't the greatest light in this world. America would have been some tribes if it wasn't for Europe.
Do you want newer events? Europeans helped you guys with the 13 Year War on Terror.
Okay, sure. Let's keep it that way
Feel free to point more thing out XD
I'm joking. Thanks anywho.
I know, I just wanted to point some things out.
Exactly, you're saying it isn't the brightest because of something that no longer applies to it being "bright." Those two no longer corelate. A candle that burns bright burns no less bright for once being made by certain materials or in a certain place or time.
We did have help, but we still give much more than most, and definitely much more than we receive. Even when it comes down to the civilian population America is the most giving country.
You didn't offend me, sorry if i came off overly aggressive,
One battle wouldn't of made a difference, the Russian troops were crack farmers with weapons sixty years old man, the German Army at that time was unmatched. They had no chance against Armor or Aircraft. Zero.
These people were given a choice to go there and serve, the soldiers were ordered to go there. Big Difference.
You missed all the other things, like nuclear energy, rock and roll, civil liberties, medical advancements, genetics, agriculture. Do you know how much food is exported out of the United States every Year. Imagine if we just turned off our food sharing, i mean i own my farm, i will be ok. How would everyone else be, China. I'm sure they can feed themselves right.
What about Windows, or Apple, or anything that was envisioned by Americans, like the smart phone. I just think its funny people hate America so much, then why use our products, our technology, listen to our culture/movies music whatever. I don't care anymore.
Have a great day.
They did have numbers though. Very influential in battle. When you have the numbers to consistantly send in 10 men and only 1 with a gun then you have overwhelming numbers.
The CRA - Chinese-Russo Alliance. Throw them North Koreans, Nazis, and Anarchists in and the world's not going so good.
America can be pretty bad, but compared to other places, it's better.
As someone who has read World War 2 things extensively, the USA had an extreme impact on the war. Many of the Allies weapons, Soviets included, were American made.
D-Day was extremely crucial as it split the Germans in half. The Soviets lost around 20 million to the far smaller the German Army.
I actually say that the Battle of Kursk was more decisive, but that's my opinion.
I also like to note that the Americans practically defeated the Japanese single-handlely in the Pacific.
Every country is worse then "X" but better then "Y".
my grandfather fought the tojo in WW2, they fucked him up bad.
Russia had no chance bro. They would of been dominated in the air, Germany had jet aircraft during the war, the russians were still using 40+50 year old planes called the Yak. It was garbage bro trust me, i played War and Thunder...
I KNOW
I was referring to the grand scheme of things of course.
My great uncle (still alive!) landed on Omaha.
Mine died in october of last year. He was in the navy and got blown off the ship on a kamikaze raid, then they started shooting at the sailors floating in the ocean. Somehow he ended up living, its kind of a amazing story.
A toast to our fallen fathers, uncles, and brothers in arms!
When i was in the Army there was this one guy who would play with his Transformers, it was pretty funny.
Agreed.
Who do you think cause more danger?
Do you mean the ones in the list?
Yup or whatever country you think like
I don't want to influence anybody, since I'm the host of the project.
Thats true lol
I agree with all of this George. Especially since this is coming from you, a veteran of war.
For all the votes on why people think America is the most dangerous nations / country in the world, I'd really like them to elaborate on that.
humanity does the most danger. it doesnt matter what country it is. but the usa is hated for a reason. its basically the new roman empire. but who is the most danger? US, as in us not USA.
Yeah... America isn't so innocent, especially with 60 tons of metal per tank.
Every country has its goods and has its bads. That's why you need to live with people's opinions.
This poll has some issues.
1.) 'Arabs' is too broadly defined, I'd suggest changing it to 'Islamic extremists'.
2.) What the hell are German, Japanese and Vietnamese on here? None of the three are relevant.
3.) Where is Iran?
Since this project is based on Call of Duty and War Games...
Anywho, this survey is a general survey.
I hope this answered your questions.
Edit: I've noticed now that in the spoiler tag there was Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People. I'm still puzzled.
Hey, guys/gals,
The more answers, the better (please).
Thank you.
