Well, the words "shell" "turtle" and "guy" themselves don't link to past mistakes, but the name together does. I've used this name for usernames before on other sites, and it has ended horribly on one of them, and the others I simply don't visit anymore.
I keep it as a reminder to myself to never visit those places again.

Mine is always the same. I picked it years ago because Thalia is the Greek muse of comedy, nurse because I was intending to go into nursing school at the time. Still stuck with the username even though the nursing thing fell through - two things stopped me. 1) advanced chemistry was a tad more difficult than I'd anticipated (I'm grand at English, poor at Math/Science), and 2) I discovered that I just can't deal with poop. Blood? Blood I'm fine with. But poop? Can't friggin' handle it.
