Fables theory about Snow/Rose's swords

The swords are obviously powerful as Snow points out that she can feel the immense power flowing through her blade.

But what if the swords are designed to kill siblings? Rose has used her's to kill Spratt (revealed to be one of the sisters in 148) and when she stabbed Bigby with it, he felt pain to be sure, but he recovered VERY quickly from the wound...

I don't know whether it's cuz Bigby's Feral form allows him to take a shit-load of punishment; but I am firmly believing that the swords will only give mortal injuries to those connected to Snow and Rose's bloodline.

Maybe (if) Snow fights Bigby in 149 for some reason (I REALLY hope she doesn't though) she will discover for herself that her sword cannot harm Bigby. If Snow fights Bigby then she will defend herself till the end (she'll likely be begging him to stop attacking her throughout however) but if her sword cannot injure him, then it will confirm that the swords are meant for specific people.

It's not much of a theory, but it kinda makes sense in a way... what do you guys think??

The swords can kill anyone. We haven't seen the full effects of Bigby's healing, but we do know that he heals quickly. The part that reveals that Spratt is related to Snow and Rose is pretty complex and yet simple. Rose's armor changed to red after she killed Spratt, and Hope mentioned that Rose is now more powerful than Snow. Rose can only gain power from relatives, every generation of their family fought for it. The complex part is near the end which explains why Spratt didn't have any power before New Camelot. Snow's mom gained the knowledge of transferring the power and locking it away. Snow's mom retook the power her sister had before fighting her, a fight she lost, but still managed to lock the power away.

  • Rose had chance to kill Bigby but failed because hesitation, I think if Snow thought Bigby is going to harm children she will not hesitate :-[

  • Hesitation? I doubt that, you can't not kill someone by stabbing them cuz you hesitated!

Either the swords can only harm relatives or Bigby is too damn tough.
