Subtitles please
hello everyone.
the game is so good it makes me angry that no Spanish subtitles. For this reason I will not buy the following chapters. Please you do not waste the Spanish market, including Latin America. if you commit to add a patch in the future with the subtitles , then I , and millions of Spanish-speaking fans would be willing to buy all chapters now expect their future contribution .

You should post this in the site's Support section so that TellTale can answer it.
Telltale never translates their products into other languages for some reason, so their foreign fanbase has been unofficially doing it for them up until now. I'm pretty sure there is a fan translation to Spanish, you can try googling it. As far as I'm concerned, Telltale doesn't mind when people use unofficial translation patches with legit copies (lol, why would they).
I hate the localization, despise it, lol. It takes a lot of -hard- work, sometimes & MOST of the time it's done incorrectly.. There will be a translator, who has no idea what they're doing (like, clueless when it comes to certain types of slang - for example). That makes things intolerable. Is it a Spanish-made game, written and produced in Spanish: sure, have someone translate it into English, whatever; but, the other-way-round: forget it!
so many years, they don't even publish their games outside Europe and NA,so give up:(
So you're saying games produced in English shouldn't be localized at all, which means that non-English speaking people won't be able to enjoy them as you do, and yet you don't mind it when the game that is not originally English is being translated into it? Really?
Absolutely..:) English has become SO common these days, I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't speak it (except some garbage men, perhaps, hehe). The official, available translations.. Even when it comes to TV, almost make me cringe. :-D
.. When we'd moved back home, some years ago (after having lived abroad, for a while), I almost ended-up taping the bottom of my TV screen - in order NOT to see the subtitle text. It's just (so) horrible, LOL!
Edit: Not to mention technical terms, when it comes to computing and such.. Some heavy-weight idiots (?) make up all sorts of terminology, which, then, becomes widely accepted (and "the standard"); & most, if not all of the time it's just plain WRONG. It changes the meaning of the original term, considering the root of the word - from where it's derived - and similar. It's so pathetic, really bothers me (in case you couldn't tell )
P.S. English isn't my first language, either.
You're clearly not for real about this, are you? Come on, you seriously want to ban translations of ALL kinds, except for those done into English, just because minor inaccuracies and errors commited in the process happen to annoy you?
Well, neither is mine, and therefore I've seen plenty of various translations in my life myself. Frankly, I don't have the slightest clue what bothers you so much about them. I mean, I do notice mistakes all the time too, but there's never anything crucial enough to affect the general understanding of a particular phrase. Moreover, as much as it might sound shocking to you, there are still many people who don't speak English in the world, and, guess what, they're human beings just like you. It's surely not up to you to decide whether they should be given an opportunity to comfortably play a video game or watch a movie, or not, and you definitely need to suck it up. Besides, if you dislike localization so much, just don't fucking use it, simple as that. It's not as big of a deal as you're making it out to be.
ahem Alright then, I'll try to be as nice as possible, but this statement of yours literally ticks me off. People have very different reasons for not learning English, you know, some simply can't cope with it due to not having a head for languages. Some of my friends, for example, can't understand any English at all, and, in spite of this, they're awesome and intelligent people, who are good in many other fields. Calling them, as you put it, "garbage men" is outright dickish and offensive to both them AND the OP of this thread.
Btw, if you don't mind me asking, what's your native tongue then?
Oh, I see... Let me guess. You live in a country with good education system where everyone's able to learn english. What about poor countries with awful education system? Not everyone lives in North America/Europe, you know.
Zorkij lives in Russia...
I replied Nostromov, not Zorkij :P
Oh sorry :P
Don't worry
