Very nice choices; I agree with all of them!
Yeah, you're right; GTA has some great characters
Thank you! Yea it did take a while to compile this all together. Especially for movies.
Oh that makes sense lol. I remember that the movie was made in Italy. Man, that movie was funny and heartbreaking at the same time.
None of these are in order because it's too hard to rank them.

Great list!
I could so get along with this list.
Well done! It's really detailed!
Any characters on it you like that you didn't list?
Castiel - Supernatural
Tyrion - Game of Thrones
Homer - The Simpsons
Guybrush - Monkey Island games
Neil - The Inbetweeners
Well I like a lot of the characters that you mentioned. T. Phillips, Kenny, Joel, and Lee are all great.
For Movies, Caesar and Koba are badasses. I haven't seen any of the Godfather movies, but I can guarantee that Michael Corleone is a great character. Django Unchained is one of the movies that actually inspired me to look into more movies, so I can agree that Django is a badass too.
For TV, like I said I don't watch a lot of TV so I don't really know most of the ones you mentioned.
Yup! Homer Simpson is great.
I agree with all of them (mostly with Sherlock)
yaa i also like martin freeman from sherlock too but in fargo he is main actor sooo yeah love both of them
Some of my favourite characters of all time from book/film/tv/game (not in order of preference necessarily, I love them all pretty equally and for different reasons):
Jesse Pinkman, Breaking Bad - someone who is endearingly dumb and naïve at times, but also grows and matures throughout and who you (or I anyway) can feel genuine sympathy for and become extremely attached to. It's worth mentioning extremely well-acted also by Aaron Paul.
Daenerys Targaryen, Game of Thrones - such a strong female character, one that again starts off quite weak and submissive but gathers strength and confidence and asserts herself to become someone very powerful.
Alex, A Clockwork Orange - young, charismatic, and pure evil.
Handsome Jack, Borderlands 2, Borderlands the Pre-Sequel, Tales from the Borderlands - an awesome antagonist, one of those you just love to hate... and then end up just loving, even though you really shouldn't.
Clementine, The Walking Dead game - the innocent little girl in the first season becomes a very strong protagonist for the second. The social mediator who defends herself and the group and talks more sense than half the adults around her, Clem has had to grow up and learn to survive in a world unimaginable to us. And she is still. Not. Bitten.
Jack Merridew, Lord of the Flies - despite his arrogance, blood-thirst and just general dickishness it's not as easy to hate Jack as you might think, particularly when you're slapped in the face by his humanity and are reminded of the fact that he is a twelve-year-old boy stranded on an island of beasts and savages just like everyone else.
Rhys, Tales from the Borderlands - I'm really liking this guy so far; he's likeable, he's interesting, he's a smart-ass, and I love the whole arrogant corporate ass-hole bravado he's got going on, when in reality (to me it seems) it's just that: a front. He's trying to be a shark like everyone at Hyperion, and like everyone else on Pandora expects him to be, but really he's a loveable idiot with a good heart. Can't wait to see more of him!
Long live Handsome Jack!
