Possible scene for season 2

AUTHOR’S NOTE: If the scene below seems confusing, that is only because it was written without an actual plot in mind. It does not come from a larger story, and only exists as a potential cliffhanger for an S2 episode. It is solely meant to be a fan’s suggestion for the kind of twists and turns season 2 could take, while also exploring other creative possibilities left behind in season 1, such as Bigby being framed and having to go on the run. This excerpt was put together with only a basic understanding of Bill Willingham’s universe and rules, so my apologies if anything seems off.

The first scent that assailed Bigby’s nostrils as he entered the attic was the stench of death. He was more familiar with the smell than he’d care to admit, at least around Snow, but that didn’t make his job any less difficult.
There was a cobweb in Bigby’s way. He swept it aside, taking a moment to cough. Looking around, Bigby already felt apprehensive about his environment. It wasn’t the darkness that bothered him so much as the silence. His sharp eyes could make out just about anything even in pitch black surroundings, but for some reason, the complete absence of any natural noise never failed to unnerve him. Something bad had gone down here, as if the stink of rotting flesh wasn’t enough of a clue. Bigby had to keep his head low to avoid bumping into any of the wooden beams. He followed the death-smell to a far corner of the attic, where he saw a crumpled dark shape. He already knew it was a body.

Found anything up there? Snow’s voice reverberated from the planks beneath Bigby’s feet.

You could say that, Bigby shouted. You’d better come see this, Snow.

He knelt beside the corpse and gripped its shoulder, slowly turning it over. Bigby’s heart skipped a beat. His own face stared back at him. Covered in blood, one eye gouged out, and stone-cold dead, but his face all the same. Even the clothes appeared identical.

What the hell? Bigby cursed. His hand fumbled through the corpse’s thick winter jacket. He felt his fingers clasp a cylindrically shaped object. Son of a bitch, he muttered. He pulled his hand out from the coat, revealing a glamour tube. So this is what it had felt like for Snow at Lily’s autopsy. But why would a sick bastard glamour some poor guy’s body to make him look like…?

All of a sudden, Bigby realized he was being watched.

In another house, observing Bigby through a crackling surveillance monitor, a man cloaked in shadows whispered into his radio. He has taken the bait. Spring the trap.

Before Bigby could so much as take a step back from the glamored corpse, the wooden tube in his hand unleashed a fiery wave of red mist that encircled and suffocated him. Bigby roared, dropping the glamour tube, understanding too late how stupid he had been.

The transformation happened so quickly, Bigby didn’t even have time to think. He felt his body and clothes changing shape, but feeling his mind and thoughts being forcefully distorted was much, much worse. This was no ordinary glamour. This was something far more powerful, more potent than anything he’d encountered before. A new personality was beginning to override his own soul, and Bigby felt a chill upon recognizing that personality.

Snow raised her head through the trapdoor, surveying the attic space.

Bigby? She called out. Where are you?

Snow's voice caught in her throat. Bloody Mary was standing over Bigby’s corpse. The psychotic woman turned around. For a fraction of a second, Snow thought she saw an expression of stark terror on Bloody Mary’s face. But that swiftly dissolved into a vicious grin. Her eyes glinted with sadistic evil.

Oh boy, she hissed in delight. Fresh meat.

I believe it was you or maybe someone else that suggested Bigby be glamoured to look like Mary for an episode or two, but the addition of Mary's personality was a unique twist :)

Maybe Bigby's mind could fight for dominance or something?

Screw canon, this should be a thing!

Have you ever considered writing fanfiction Robert? You'd be very welcome on the 'Start a Story' thread XD

In this scenario, his identity is in danger of being absorbed by Bloody Mary's, but in the first few moments of the next episode, he's able to regain dominance, thanks to the player's intervention. Unfortunately, Bigby still retains Bloody Mary's form, and doesn't have any luck convincing Snow (or whoever is with him at the time) of his innocence. He becomes a fugitive, wrongfully accused of his own murder. Just to give you a better idea of the story's tone, try to picture an opening chase sequence where Bigby/Bloody Mary is having to evade a Mundy SWAT team and the citizens of Fabletown to the accompanying music:

I don't do fanfiction. I only throw ideas around on the forum like everybody else, hoping and praying someone at Telltale just might say to themselves, "Hey, this looks interesting, maybe we should file it away for the time being." (And no, I wouldn't sue anyone. I know folks in America can be paranoid as hell about lawsuits, but I couldn't afford a new car let alone a lawsuit, so they needn't have to worry.)

Doesn't really have the same twisted thrill as Bigby being charged for killing himself. Playing as a glamoured character is too exciting a concept to pass up. There's also Bloody Mary's fate in episode 5 to be taken into account, where she seemed to be shattered into pieces by Bigby.

Besides, Bloody Mary's temperament is a little too deranged to convince anyone that she's Bigby. She'd probably kill Bufkin thirty seconds after meeting him.
