I have two cats and a dog. Cats are bloody awesome.
I had a goldfish that lives for 18 years, little fucker. Had a border collie when I was a kid, he also lived to 18. My mum brought him back to the shelter the day she got him because he was too much work. She felt bad and got him back the next day haha.
Also had a cat who got run over, a cat that got put down, and two labradors who got sold.
Two of those cats have claimed me as their owner: Gracie (12; Russian Blue, hates people) and Luna (2; black cat, blind in one eye, very aggressive & skittish). My Mom has the Tuxedo Cat (Baby Cat; 6) and her boyfriend has Ommy "Nommy" (I don't know his age, but he's also a black cat).

My family has four cats.
