If you go to Toad first, when you get to Lawrence he is alive momentarily, but once the chase scene begins I believe that's the last you see of Lawrence alive. If you want Lawrence to stay alive, you must visit him first, and stop him from shooting himself in the head, by jumping out of closet and beginning chase scene. Next time you talk to him will be in Episode 3 during the funeral, assuming you don't interrupt.
I don't remember, was he at the trial in the middle of ep 5?
He is.
But only if you save his life in Ep. 1
Yes, he does appear during the trail at the end of episode 5, but only if you manage to save his life in episode 1.
He also appears in episode 3 at the funeral if he's saved.
Will he say important things about Faith?
Here is what changes:
If Lawrence is dead; Holly will yell something about how the CM killed Lily.
If Lawrence is alive, then he will yell something about how the CM killed Faith, and he will speak instead of Holly.
If S2 were to happen, I hope Telltale grants Lawrence at least one cameo.
Depends on whether you saved him or not of course...
Basically what Hazza just said. No big changes. Maybe he will make more of an appearance, and more important in Season 2
