I did! I thought it was going to be 'meh' at first, but I'm glad I was wrong about that - so, so wrong, lol.
Anyway, it was amazing no doubt. Can't wait to watch the rest of the premiere that's going to air tomorrow night, apparently.
It was absolutely brilliant. Cinematography was the best part IMO, with beautiful shots, and bright colours. Acting was superb, and I enjoyed every minute of it (especially the last ten minutes), and I will admit, I started freading out when that ending came along. It was very Breaking Bad-esque, while also keeping its own identity. Bob is fantastic in the leading role, and this show has my complete trust after this excellent pilot.
10/10
11/10
First episode started off really boring, but then the second half was really good, I loved the reveal of a certain crazy Mexican guy and the second episode I really liked. I loved the way they filmed it and I loved some of the comedic elements with Saul especially with Mike and the desert negotiation was so tense and well done. Better Call Saul is definitely off to a fantastic start.
Ratings for first two episodes:
Episode 1: 8.5/10
Episode 2: 9.5/10
7.8/10 - Too many lawyers
He probably wasn't serious about his review.
2/10 - Too much Saul, needed more Cinnabons
Damn dude was that Vaas!?
Yup, it was Vaas. And he's going to be a major character.
Just watched first episode it was amazing and endof thefirst episode was awesome when that psyco guy open the door haha
Quite boring and slow at first but then it got really funny and interesting. The second episode was great. I'm hooked. Can't believe Michael Mando is in it! I love his acting so much!
Freakin sweet!
Poor Saul, working at that Cinnabun
Loved it, really entertaining.
I did love how current day Saul totally looks like pre-heisenberg Walt lol.
yeah those are good ratings. though i hd it 09/10 and 10/10
goddamnit ign
yes! i was like, "huh?i fucking know him, but where?" then they closed up on him more and i knew it was vass
hope so
right!, i was like i know him then they closed up on him and i knew and then i heard his voice and i was like yep that is Vass. i was just waiting for him to go full Vass and even say "hermano" jaja. and even when he laughed i was just thinking of vass. i hope he is at least the whole season, you could just feel the chemestry he had with raymond cruz (Tuco), love it.
12/10 ?
I really enjoyed the pacing of the show, and hopefully we'll see some more flash forwards, even though Saul's getting those false positives. I wonder what other things we'll see post-Walter White.
Also sad to see Mike back, knowing what happened to him, but such is the tragedy of a life like his, if he's still doing his thing while working the booth, anyway. And I was hoping Lydia would be in there somewhere, as I was always curious to know how someone like her got into that particular line of work.
So far, a solid base for a story with realistic outcomes (i.e. unintended consequences) is beginning to form into another good tale from Saul's perspective. And what about that lawyer, Kim? Looks like a lot of trouble there, not to mention the "collection" of that million and a half. 11 episodes, though, definitely not enough.
I think it was a reference to when IGN gave Pokemon Alpha Saphire a 7.8 because there was "too much water"
You shouldn't be sad about Mike. You really need to be happy that he at least gets some more screen time and character development
