Nice Try @579801
THIS IS FAKE
I have no idea what the Original IP is but I can't wait to find out!
Yeah I read the article and can't help but wonder what it could possibly be.
What do you think? Serious or comedy?
I'm honestly not sure, but If I have to take a guess I think it will be serious. I would LOVE a comedy though.
Boombox. Cheetos.
Same, maybe its both?c:
Comedy! Comedy! Comedy!
I hope it's a horror. I reaaaaaally want it to be a horror so badly!
I don't know why but I think it's going to be something like Life is strange, a little bit of comedy and drama.
Open World + Telltale Choices = Perfect Game.
This would probably require much script and blablablah, but could be awesome. Please, this game must be a original drama! u.u
Open world, possible offline-koop + telltale choices = Perfect game - impossible to make ;-)
A real-life drama would be perfect ;-)
(?) The Internet will always remember Blind Sniper's Cheetos/Telltale prank
...would have bought...
...although, I'd hardly count "Cheetos" as an original IP, you know?
...
They are working on too many things in the same time, omg telltale finish GOT and TftB already before staring to work on something else. Seems like they are forgetting to do quality over quantity
Planning is not the same as developing. Only a small portion of people work out planning the overall details before a larger team works on the game. This was the case for previous titles such as Walking Dead, where only a few people planned out the larger beats of the story and the choice gameplay.
So Telltale is already working on TWD S3 for real?
I mean, probably with a medium group, since probably GOT and Borderlands are being worked on episode 4 or something like this.
I don't know about Walking Dead: Season 3, but Twitter seems to show they are planning out Minecraft: Story Mode. As an educated guess from a volunteer with no advance info, I'd say to expect Walking Dead: Season 3 in 2016 with news later this year. From what Telltale has loosely alluded to, they only seem to be at the point where they are figuring out what direction they want to take the story in Season 3. Of course, at this point, the gameplay is very likely to stay the same as Seasons 2 and 1.
I hope it's serious or at least adult humor or maybe dark comedy. This just coming from my personal preference, I know Telltale will make a good game out of either one.
Oh, story... this is important, they can take a long time for do this if it be well done. Well, I hope they give us some information near the end of the year.
They are just planning/writing. I wouldn't expect this game till 2017 which means they are also taking their time with their current games.
Interesting, I'm really excited to see where this game goes.
I'm expecting an Ace Attorney style court drama.
Hopefully they'll try their hand at a true RPG where we make our own character in their world. In my opinion, it's been a long time (5 years since Dragon Age: Origins) since a great RPG came out that didn't heavily rely on clichés, stereotypes and outright pandering to audiences.
I mean, I get the mentality of trying to profit from developing a work, but we're a long way form the console wars of the 1990's.
It's time to let the skilled artists show us what they enjoy doing.
I think Telltale could do a great RPG if they wanted to, but their current focus seems to be on telling stories that play out like interactive TV shows/Movies. They've done games before such as Puzzle Agent or Poker Night that act as outliers to their default gameplay template, but those aren't very common nowadays.
bye TWD season 3 and TWAU season 2, see you in 2024
Would love to see some space opera-y scifi, but i doubt that will happen.
Maybe a modern setting? Don't know.
Looking forward to learn more about the new IP.
