Do you think Bryan Williams will ever be able to return to NBC news?
After he has been caught misrepresenting the news for so long?
The only way I see Bryan ever making a comeback, is to go into the most dangerous situation he can, like being on the ground in Afghanistan as a reporter, and sticking to the truth.
In other words, really proving himself.
When I heard Williams was suspended for 6 months without pay, that to me, sounded like the news network basically saying: "You're fired!"
And I do have a feeling that once the 6 months are up, that NBC will have plenty of reason to still keep him barred from the newsroom.
And it's really sad, as I like Bryan Williams, I think he is a good host.
It's just a shame he felt he had to lie, to sell the news.
And on that note, that's what every news network has to do, to be able to sell the news.
Sometimes when a story has clearly been edited, as in during an interview about an event, the person being interviewed is still talking, but they've muted his voice, before switching back to the main news-anchor.
I always end up wondering, what was the person saying, that we didn't get to hear?
Or what was the person saying, that someone-somewhere didn't want us to hear?
Sometimes you've gotta question what you are being told, as to if it is the entire truth, or not.
As every news network as their own agenda.
Anyway, unless Bryan can really prove himself to be trustworthy again, I doubt we will ever see him again on NBC.
Or any other news network for that matter!
What do you think?

The guy from the Comedy Central will take his place no doubts about it. The news reporter comedian.
John Stewart?
I think I heard that he was getting suspended for six months and then he will be back.
I been to Afghanistan, it isn't so bad. I rather be there, than other places. I heard NBC has already replaced him.
I think he'll be back, I'm surprised that they suspended him for 6 months like that, idk he just seemed like he was "the face" or something.
i read a article yesterday that he had been replaced by Katie Couric or whatever
Really? I'll have to look that up, Like I said ,to me it seemed like he was "the face" or something, surprise they had the guts to suspend him, But how could they replace a guy who met Abraham Lincoln?
Had to lie, to sell the news? Telltale should hire him as PR specialist.
I was just on Drudge and they had an article about him lying about being at the Berlin Wall coming down.
Couric? Isn't that the standard unit measurement for mass weight of feces?
I can link it to you, if you wish, it was on dailymail.uk, saw it there yesterday.
Are you trying to be funny?
No. That's from South Park. I thought it's the same Couric.
It is.
Oh Yeah......
Yes John Stewart
I don't think so. He's been caught in several lies, he's lost all credibility. His job requires him to report the facts, and he twisted them for his own benefit.:/
This is honestly the most non-story ever. Out of all the shit that goes on the media, this is completely irrelevant, and even more than irrelevant it serves as way of releasing built up steam from the real problem; here are two people I agree with totally, though in two different ways.

Where I disagree is about liking certain broadcasters - I don't know what leeway broadcasters having choosing their stories, but I know I liked Lawrence O'Donnell and Dylan Ratigan. Probably because they dealt with issues of infrastructure and progressive public spending and criticized the Democratic Party that's why they had to go.
