What do you think? Better Call Saul for me seems like it's going to be a really strong show, but do you think it can eventually beat Breaking Bad?

Your topic title scared me there for a second XD I thought you were saying Better Call Saul was better than Breaking Bad already. I was gonna go nuts lol. But yeah Better Call Saul has definitely started strong, is it better than Breaking Bad already? Heck no, but I think it has potential to be better though it's gonna be very very hard. Hopefully they introduce some characters we can care about and can wonder what happens to them.
From what I heard, Breaking Bad almost never had a "bad" episode according to the general consensus, so let's see if Better Call Saul will do that.
Im really loving Better Call Saul, but I dont think it will be better than Breaking Bad
i think the only bad episode i can think of was the one where they spent the whole episode trying to kill a fly in the lab but even that wasn't too bad
I actually liked that episode, it was really good IMO
I found a lot of episodes to be boring and uneventful but overall it clearly has more great episodes than not.
As great as Better Call Saul is/will be, I doubt it will get on Breaking Bad level. Probably way too early to tell, but they certainly have a long way to go if they want it to be.
Even that episode was chock-full of character development between Walt and Jesse. If anything, Breaking Bad was pretty incredible in the fact that it really didn't have any filler episodes. Everything had a purpose.
Nothing beats this Breaking Bad scene:
That's because that was a bottle episode.
YumYum
and that one wasnt even bad. its a really important episode
goddamnit lol
man i was going to loose my shit a bit lol. well we dont know, i dont think so, but thats just me really LOVING breaking bad
well it can be better than breaking bad but its still not better than breaking bad till now we have to wait more episode to decide if it is better or equal:P
mee too breaking bad is awesome
true no episode was boring at all loved starting to end never get bored any time watching the show for me its the best tv series and i hopebetter call saul will be that good too
Bob Odenkirk is good but Bryan Cranston is greater, so sorry no.
I'm sure Better Call Saul will be good (I'm enjoying it so far) but I doubt it will match Breaking Bad. I'm not even sure if it's meant to. As a prequel, I doubt it's going to be able to reach the emotional intensity and development Breaking Bad had.
I hope they do more scenes with Saul after the ending of Breaking Bad, personally, like the very first scene in the series. I still kind of want to see more of Jesse at some point, though I get the feeling Gilligan wants to leave Jesse's fate open-ended.
