i think because they say you can watch the non interactive episodes and play the interactive episodes in any order, this means that they would each focus on separate but connected stories, similar to 300 days, or something like the lord of the rings, eg. the non interactive (TV show) part would be sam and frodo's story, while the game would be Aragorn's story.
basically the games player character won't be the focus of the TV show, and the TV show's protagonist won't be the focus (player character) of the game
they said the game episodes and the show episodes would be released at the same time in pairs, so there would have to be the same amount of game episodes as shows and they have to come out at the same time, hopefully this would mean they will have to find a more efficient way of making the game episodes eg. half finishing all of the episodes before episode one comes out.
and i am hoping for at least 10 game and tv show episodes (20 all together) so they can have a more fleshed out story and be more similar to TV shows
Here's my prediction of how the Super Show will work;
My prediction is that Lionsgate, Telltale, or whichever TV station is airing the se… moreries will host the TV portion of the series online with some streaming service similar to Netflix, and will offer players the option to sync their Telltale Games accounts to show variations of the Television show episodes that have a few "tailored" scenes that people will view based on choices they made in the Telltale game if they played it. Similar to a Telltale game, the overall story for the TV show episodes will be the same, but again just like a Telltale game, they will probably shoot several minor variations of scenes for TV shows that account for the consequences of different player choices. The player choices would be accessed from your Telltale Games account data. Episodes for the TV show will probably release in a larger quantity and much quicker than the Telltale episodes, and since Telltale e… [view original content]
Lionsgate: The release date is almost here. We already finished shooting the live-action episode with the actors. Are you guys done with the game episode? Telltale: Don't worry. It'll be ready "soon".
There's a worrying thought. Has Liongate not seen how bad Telltale are at working to a schedule?
This could end quite badly for TT if they hold Liongate back.
Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't Game of Thrones take place in an Anglo-Saxon themed world? So isn't everyone going to be white becaus… moree everyone in the upper half of Europe during the Anglo-Saxon period were white and that was all they knew; fair skinned people? I mean, that's what I learned in history and English literature during college.
Yes. Being bored of most protagonists looking exactly the same is 'heterophobic' (haha), sexism and racist. Won't someone please think of the poor excluded white straight men.
They're making The Hunger Games into a game I think? That's what this article says:

Oops I misread it, I don't think they are!

Yeah, I would like it too but you never know, it is possible. The final movie will be out this year so maybe they are planning on getting more money from it by making a Telltale game?
It's worth noticing that the other new BOD member is the Unity Technology CEO, John Riccitiello.
Given that 3d Unity Engine is capable to… more deliver on PC,Mac,PS,Xbox,Android and iOS, it's really possible it will be integrated in TT engine?
I hope there will be a massive graphic improvement soon....

I don't think its a bad idea at all. Though its something thats been executed poorly previously in the gaming industry, I have faith in Telltale that them and Lionsgate will make a great storyline to base this "Super Show" on and any other ones.
So yeah, as long as this doesn't affect their normal episodic games that they have planned/planning, I'm all aboard on this.
Last time I checked being a person of color doesn't automatically equate to 'black,' especially in a fictional universe where their origins aren't in Africa. Also, pretty sure we don't get to play any.

No, Telltale said both game and tv show are released simultaneously.

the "hunger games" part of the title is click bait/google search bait
I doubt it, but i hope Telltale makes a Hunger Games Game. (maybe now the chances of this happening are higher)
Yeah, I realised that after I posted it haha
Yeah, I would like it too but you never know, it is possible. The final movie will be out this year so maybe they are planning on getting more money from it by making a Telltale game?
Does Lionsgate own Boune Dock Saints? plz forgive spelling. That would be perfect for TT!
Hunger Games as Telltale's "original IP"? That's not very original, if you ask me.
They should go all out and license Unreal Engine 4. That way, Game of Thrones Season 2 could look like this:
Im not talking about the original IP.. im saying beyond that.
I hope its fantastical and fun too many games take themselves far too seriously nowadays...
It sounds like there will be some sort of announcement in the summer.
I don't think the recent changes are that great really. I've heard nothing bad things when EA executives step into a company.
Hmm, odd. I figured Kevin had been implying their first Super Show was a collaboration with Lionsgate in the EW interview?
A Super Name writing the Super Show?
We'll know Super Soon.
I don't know if they own it but lionsgate films and Colombia put it out, ya.
Thread: Telltale and Lionsgate making a "Super Show"?
have ya'll heard about this super show business yet? it's all over telltale's twitter.
if ya haven't, i'll sum it up for you. telltale and lionsgate are teaming up to make some TV video game mashup called a super show.
I can't be the only one who thinks this sounds awful, right?
I love telltale, but all great empires fall. i hope with all my heart that this turns out well.
i mean, just listen to the name... "Super Show" ...how could something with a name that stupid not be poop? xD?
Yes, there's a thread about it.
I like this, it's a great opportunity.
We all doubt Telltale and we shouldn't.
I don't doubt them, I'm looking forward to this idea and I feel that if anyone can make this work, it's Telltale.
I'm curious too.
I just really hope that Telltale & Lionsgate make a refreshing new storyline, I don't doubt them but i'm a little worried.
Super.
Yeah, there's already a massive thread on this.
I don't think its a bad idea at all. Though its something thats been executed poorly previously in the gaming industry, I have faith in Telltale that them and Lionsgate will make a great storyline to base this "Super Show" on and any other ones.

lionsgate is the "money" not the "talent"
I guess we have no choice but to wait and see.
