colour perception
So this hasn't been raised here yet so I thought I would bring it up. To some people this dress is white and gold to others its blue and black, when I saw the photo on tv is was a pure bright white with shiny metallic gold but when I looked at it online on my phone it looked light brown and blue, weird right? What do you see? And no this isn't a practical joke.

NO ONE FUCKING CARES
Black and blue......
You dont think its interesting that colour is perceived differently by people? I think it is
I see both.
I was at first, but I think the internet gave this little thing too much attention
I see white and gold, which scares me because I know its real color is black and blue
.-.
Its pretty weird because now that I know its black and blue and my brain has processed it wrong its becoming more black and blue every time I look at it like my brain is rewiring itself.
I think everyone is getting sick of this, but I haven't written in yet, so....
When I first see the larger picture (doesn't work so well with this tiny version of the photo), I see white and gold. However, when I squint and look through my eyelashes, it turns blue and black. When I then open my eyes wide again, it stays blue and black.
On the news, I heard that the company making this dress, which is blue and black in real life, is going to make a white and gold version to capitalize on the publicity. I can't wait to see the pranksters to get ideas, such as showing up to a party wearing the white and gold version, go to the restroom, switch into the carefully concealed blue and black version, and return to the party insisting that nothing has changed about the dress!
Blue and gold.
yea that is not really the question here
I see white and gold in this picture, however in the other picture I saw it was blue with black lines, I honestly just thought they were different pictures.
Looks white and gold to me. I think the blue look of it is due to shade.
It's actually black and blue.
