Welp at least it's still coming out later-ish. Been playin video games damn near my entire life and it's been a delay here or there, nothing to fret over. A world where there are no delays is a pipe dream.

If the game was developed by Ubisoft, it would also have a male protagonist, with the excuse being, "female characters animations are too hard", ignoring the fact that the deuteragonist is female and they could just copy her animations.

WelL, I don't hate Ubisoft. They do have some of my favourite game series, like Rayman, Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six.
It's just that they seem to love showinv some amazing demos at events like E3, only for the final product to not be as good as those demos.
It can be taken as a promise, the way it's worded, that it'll be released mid-march. As to whether people actually take it as a promise? Well, that's on them really. Also there's the question of whether it was worded wrong.
Anyhow again, it 'can' be taken to be a promise the way it's worded. If they'd said 'hoped to release it by mid-march', then there'd be no question as to whether it was a promise or not.
Regardless, the fact remains that an extra two weeks or so is not anything to kick up a fuss about, especially as they're still on target for March. Even if it was delayed further, I'd rather they take whatever time they need to get it as polished as possible. And that's basically why I kept asking if an extra two weeks was a big deal. Wasn't meaning to imply Megami had a problem with the delay or actually questioning them as I asked it in general. Rather, I just wanted to draw attention to what, in my view, matters.
Pretty much feel the same way about them, back when I was in school Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon were some of my absolute favourite games, it's why it annoys me that they suck so much.
Oh yeah and I'm forgetting Beyond Good and Evil, that game was amazing.

Hopefully this "delay" will give the writing team some time to actually write interesting dialogue and not this "cool beans, awesome sauce, sad face, hella, let's thrash" cringe worthy dialogue that was so prominent in episode 1, cause holy shit did it cripple a lot of enjoyment it could've potentially had.
For example, Mass Effect is a story driven game that is not episodic. He's saying he dislikes the schedule of episodic games, but people are putting him down for bashing on all story based games, which plainly isn't true.
It's fine to disagree with someone's opinion, but you must check what that person's opinion actually is before thinking you can disagree with it.
episodic and story driven. Two different things
i'm pretty sure all of telltale's games are considered story driven along with episo… moredic so in this case they aren't exactly two different things, what i don't seem to understand is why you keep buying these if you have nothing good to say about them and you have said countless times on steam that you would not support telltale but then when borderlands and got comes out there you are complaining about the same shit you did with twd and twau
It's kind of like a chick flick man. I remember watching a Taylor Swift interview some time back and she spoke exactly like how these girls in this game speak. Then again, it may be extremely off putting for the older generation, but I can live with it.

Y'know what was the funniest part? I'm a huge punk-head. So when Chloe suggested "thrashing to some punk," I was wondering what'd it be. She puts on some Kidz Bop bullshit and starts jumping up and down on her bed like an eight year old that just drank her first soda asking for Max to take a picture of her smoking a blunt. I was so disappointed in her, my experiences with "thrashing" couldn't be more different. When me and my friends "thrashed to punk" we ended up with bruises and bloodied noses.
Just another example of poser hipster slang trying to sound "hip and jiving."

I'm OK with no more Prince of Persia since I liked the sands trilogy, the one that was only named Prince of Persia I haven't played, looks nice but apparently a lot of people didn't like it, I want to play it but sadly it doesn't work on my PC (Have it on GoG, in fact I have all of them on GoG which means I'm missing Forgotten Sands which I also haven't played), but yeah we really do need Beyond Good and Evil 2, like seriously fucking cliffhanger and stupid Ubisoft keeps saying it might happen but it never happens, stupid Ubisoft I hate them so much but I heard Splinter Cell Blacklist was actually good so at least that's something, I'll buy it later.

The 2008 Prince of Persia suffers from the same problem as Beyond Good and Evil, in which it also ended on one big cliffhanger. The original ending wasn't that bad, but the DLC epilogue set things up for a sequel, and now, 6 years after the release of the DLC, and after Forgotten Sands, the series seems to be dead.
Most complaints about the game is that it is too easy, but I still had some fun with the parkour, especially towards the end of the game, when you have new abilities. The art style was beautiful, it's one of those that should look good for years. From, what I remember, the story wasn't that bad.
Also, where the hell is Rayman 4? Origins and Legends are great, but I want a new 3D Rayman, and I'm sure that many other fans want one as well.
As for Blacklist, I have yet to play it as well, but I've heard lots of good things about it. Heck some say it has some of the most polished gameplay in any stealth game.

Yeah, I was expecting heavy metal honestly. Seemed to be more in her tastes, but I think the first song that plays while you're searching for the tools was a dead give away that she doesn't listen to heavy metal.

Punk has ltos of iterations. Just because one girl in one game thinks something different to you about the genre doesn't mean it's bad writing or anything of the sort.

No, genres and sub-genres are broken up by several things not limited to tab structures, vocal styling, drum kits and the play style, etc. Which is why thrash is kind of the same as grindcore but not. Because grindcore is a core subgenre, so although mixing thrash with hardcore, it also uses guttural vocals and blast beats as well as a very distorted guitar. So, by the very definition, the new-wave grunde they were listening to, although similar, wasn't close if you've grown an ear for it's signature style.

Bud, you're not telling me anything new. I listen to everything ranging from Discharge and Sheer Terror to The Slits and Sonic Youth. And I've been listening for the large part of six years now.
For example, this is punk.
No argument from me. Then again, Brat Mobile isn't processing the shit out of their track. Actually, why'd you use them as an example cause Chloe's American Idol mixtape couldn't have sounded further from what you've displayed as your example?
Complaining because the writers failed to live up to your specific childhood experience of it is ridiculous.
I said it was funny, and the most cringe worthy part of the entire episode. You're the one that is arguing with me about a definition of a musical genre that isn't right. She said "let's thrash" then plays something out of a Wiggles soundtrack, why? Because the writers don't know anything about heavy metal or punk. It's just a cool thing for alternative kids to say.

When did I mention tab structures?
You of all people must know that the lines between genre is so blurred that at a micro level genre is decided by the group, not theoretical definitions.
The groups define the genre, not the other way round.

"Coming off as" and being are two completely different things. I thought the scene was cringe worthy, sorry if it hurt your feelings. Saying "thrash" then jumping up and down on a bed smoking a blunt jiving your hips like you're at a go-go club is not the same thing. Not the same field, not even the same sport. I was applying a badly written scene in a game full of them as an example to my first comment suggesting that the writing for the game needs to improve if the developers want people to get more enjoyment out of the game.
And you're damn right I'll use a poorly written scene to judge an episode. In a game about writing, the writing is somewhat crucial to the enjoyment. And having a character like Chloe who's supposed to be some hard punk-bitch then have her say "yeah, thrash! Right kids? Y'know thrash?" and then putting on some post-modern grunge at best is a overlooked detail that I and I'm sure several others noticed immediately.
