I hate unknown statuses
Like when a character just gets dropped and is never picked up again not just in TWD but in every other type of fiction

It has to happen, they cant resolve every character onscreen, They already kill far to many characters
I kind of like it, make me think about where they are and if they're alive.
I don't mind it all that much because it always leaves open the possibility for the writers to bring that character back if they ever want to in the future. It allows fans to speculate the whereabouts of that character as well and create their own theories for what happened to them.
It really depends. Like if some extremely major character in a story just disappears and never comes back and we dont know why, then yes its annoying
You would rather have deceased status over unknown then?
Never forget Glenn (Even though we know where he is)
I'd rather know than not know forever
R.I.P Glenn
It's funny because the last time I visited his page on the wiki (for the game), he was listed as unknown, even though Kirkman killed him off probably years ago now.
Wiki is constantly edited by people who either read various speculation threads or just cannot accept the deaths of characters. They couldn't really decide whether Kenny was "Presumed Dead" or "Unknown" and finally settled on the latter, and that was two months prior to his return in Season 2. Hell, I remember him being determinant at one point.
"Some men just wanna watch the wikis get updated."
Don't play Dragon Age then.
The two protagonists of the series, who had two 30+ hour games invested in both of them, had an 'Unknown' status for about 3-4 years. One still does. :S
Sometimes deceased characters come back, too. Depending on the story.
Depends on how they last interacted, but I don't necessarily HATE it because then you can just draw up your own ending for them.
