Internet problems(Need help)
So lately my internet will just disconnect me from xbox live for no reason all the lights on my router usually stay green but sometimes one will go off turn red than be green again and let me sign online but it usually does it again not long after. Anyone ever have this problem and maybe know what to do?

My one's done that since I got it. Works fine offline, netflix etc but then the moment I play online it conks out after a few minutes. I've been meaning to get it fixed, I'm just not at home all that much
Well, if you're American, there's the problem. Internet connection sucks because of lack of infrastructure, local monopolies (looking at you Comcast and Time Warner), and, especially in the case of small towns, lobbying against things like communication towers.
One time I had a router lose connection because it was on the same frequency as the desk phone.
Did you try turning it off and back on again.

Absolutely.
My phone and iPOD always glitch and the first thing I think to check is how recently it was that I turned either off. And lo and behold, it works. Same with routers. Sometimes, routers just need to be off for a few minutes to recharge. It's actually a really good idea to turn them off at night before you go to sleep. Expands their lifespan.

Did you /release /renew your connection?
Did you take your cable modem and plug it directly into your pc to see if its a problem with your internet or your router?
Is your setup wired/wireless
Do you have your ports mapped?
Do you have static or dynamic ips
Lel before I opened this thread I thought you were getting harassed through the internet. As for your connection problem, it's just because it's very unstable. I owned a Xbox 360 and the connection was shit as it always disconnected.
