alright i started playing sam and max when it first came out in 1993..when i was 13.. i used to play all those adventure games as a kid.. smnmx n dott were my favorites... I pretty much followed sam and max since then.. got the collected comics when it came out..taped all the tv series..followed all the disappointments...failed comic strip.. sam and max 2 sequel in space cancelled..and then freelance police..but when FP was cancelled I was so disgusted..cause i'd been on a 10 year journery waiting on a sequel to my fav game of all time..and i was so close to being there.. I basically had to start savesamandmax.com and try to galvanise the efoorts of others disgusted n disappointed like me.. firstly i basically threw all information i had on a rather crappy looking 1 page website..and the support flooded in.. 1 friendly new zealander offered to design the website for me-> JP and after that within two months over 50, 000 unique visiotrs had rolled through.. in the aftermath telltale was formed.. and now I'm here to support and do all I can .. from a purely selfish point of view I want telltale to be successful so my dreams of a smnmx2 come true.. but I really do enjoy adventure games..and really the comedy is what i love..so i'll enjoy what they do nonetheless.. so lets get the street teaming rolling..
on a personal point of view I run a few web sites..1 thing id like to see is get as many links to telltale games from other sites as we can..thus raising their googlerank and ppl comin 2 the site
This is nicked, pared down & brought up to date from the old 'getting to know you' thread.
Y'all can just post what ya like, or nothing at all if you wish to keep that air of mystery.

I'm Payl, I'm from Ireland, I'm 18 and I havn't had a drink in almost 3 months... wait, wrong intrduction.
I'm in College learing Computer Applications, and have been playing games all my life. I've played most of the Lucas adventure games. I havn't read any of the Bone comics, but after reading the site I got really interested.
Hey guys. Jan Tore here. I'm a 28 year old starving artist from Norway. I got a Sysadmin bachelor which i've never used for anything else than cleaning up and/or reviving the computers of friends for a pack of smokes. When I'm not doing that, I'm usually playing some boring game, using money on stuff I don't really need (beer, cigs, bad movies) or making music (we keep a homepage of my most known project at http://www.fremmedrase.no . it's a pretty well known norwegian rapgroup, we got some musicvideos on the site if you wanna check it out and you're good at guessing what norwegian words means multimedia).
I've been an adventure gamer since the C64 and Amiga days, and the interest in them has just stuck, as I'm a fan of good stories and good humour, and that's what attracted me to these games in the first place. I was looking forward to Sam&Max2 and Full Throttle 2, and when those were cancelled I ended up here, and kept coming back because the blogs were entertaining and witty. And then when Telltale announced the Bone game (or before too, because the silhouette on the site looked very much like Bone) I got even more excited about the company, since I've liked Bone since I read a couple of the first books some five years back. Just recently bought the allinone thingie, and it was still as good as i remembered. So now I'm here, willing to help out making my new favorite gamecompany a success!
I've played adventure games since 1996 or somewhere around there at least. I think it started a bit sooner already, with Leisure Suit Larry. When I came over The Secret of Monkey Island, I was quite impressed that something like this was possible, and I went on to be an adventure fan.
Currently I'm working on a hopefully commercial adventure game with the working title; Roger Foodbelly -- and hopefully it will come out sometimes.
I also love music. I'm a singer and I write lyrics. It will hopefully end up as a project in the nearest future.
When TellTale announced that they were going to make a game out of a comic named Bone, that didn't mean much to me before I picked up an issue myself, and that day my friends, was the day I got the Bone-addiction.
Now, Bone tops my best-ever comic list. Bone is actually the first comic I've seen humor.
And btw.. Jan Tore; No offence, but I had no idea that rappers liked or even played adventure games. That's cool.

No problem, but really, that's kinda like telling a .. uhm. janitor that likes classical music, that you had no idea janitors were classic music fans. We're all individuals aren't we? Heh.
Not to stray too far off the "introductions" thingie, but this is kinda introductions still, just on a higher level. Where in Norway are you at? And do you have any ideas for norwegian gaming forums where we could post about bone/telltale?
Also, I have read about your game earlier, am I too wrong if it was in conjunction with "The Adventure Pit"?

Later.
Mosjoen, right in the middle of Norway. (It's on the weather map on TV.) And you?
That name goes waay back. Of course, we've changed it. Sounded too amateur-ish for someone trying to develop a commercial game. (That article also tells what we WERE planning, but plans always change, doesn't it? )
When I think hard enough, there's a few places I know about by using Google:

Great list, now we've got some localized forums to post in too. I'll try to find some more too. I'm from Trondheim, and I was in Mosjøen a year ago or so, playing at a festival. You can check out the pictures and stuff on our website. We try our best to outwit eachother with the picture comments, so hope you enjoy it.
Good luck with the game, maybe it even is Telltale Now material down the line? You never know. Heh. Looking forward to it nontheless!
Howdy all. I know i'm resurrecting a fairly old thread from the grave here but i signed up quite some time ago and have been busy doing... stuff... which prevented me from actually doing anything Bone wise. Or even connecting to the interwebs.
Anyways, i'm here now.
My name's Joseph and live in the land of New Zeals (or New Zealand if you're having difficulty following my method of speech).
I'm 14 going on 15 in a month but don't hold that against me because i type in full sentences.
I listen to the usual crap that teenaged boys listen to with screaming on guitars and plain ol' fashioned screaming.
I spend my spare time finding old games and forcing them to work, yelling about stupid people and being a geek. Hell, i've even been known to play some D&D and watch the occasional anime!
I play adventure games partially because they have a particular magic about them which i find intriguing, and partially because i tend to get my arse handed to me whenever i play online games.
I found out about Telltale games and Bone when the savesamandmax.com site linked me here. I then had the fun of finding out that JP designed the website. Good times eh?

Motion, yeah. Know about that one. I was supposed to be there, but money didn't reach to it.
Hehe, either this or that. Thinking about contacting someone to help us, when the final story is completed. (Was forced to do a new one, so we thought in other, new lines.) You should see our first draft [:">]
