Is Dreamfall Chapters good?
So i was searching my steam afther downloading Life is Strange (Yes i JUST got steam wallet for the first time and my first is Life is Strange i love the game THAT much) and i see the 'More like this' box in the bottom. I recognize every game but this one. I never heard of it (Well i think i saw it on a youtubers playlist once but thats it. And then i notice it has parallel worlds and i LOVE Multiverse stuff. But im just not sure. Anyone here played it and if so is it worth it?

I really like it. The interface is a little cumbersome (they have a pop-in feature for hotspots, in which the camera pops into the object in question), and the animations are quite stiff. But the story is great, and they manage to combine old school adventuring (like most of Telltale's games before The Walking Dead) with choice and consequences cinematic adventuring (like most of Telltale's games after The Walking Dead).
Cool if its like that i should at least give it a try later.
Yes but PLEASE play the previous 2 games "The Longest Journey" and "Dreamfall: The Longest Journey". If you can only play one play Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. Both are available on steam and they make chapters SO much more enjoyable!
Yes, definitely. Its one of my favourite series, but, as freelancepolicefan11 said, get TLJ and Dreamfall: TLJ first. At least then you will know more about whats going on.
I haven't played it yet, but I have the previous 2 games on GoG.com, I would really recommend getting them there, because old games don't always work well and you have to meddle with .ini files in order to make them work and unlike Steam GoG has pretty good custommer service and they'll help you make it work if it doesn't or you can just get your money back, something that steam doesn't do and that I hate them for not doing because I have a lot of Steam games that just plain don't work on my PC and their custommer service never responds and they offer no refunds.
Seriously though, FUCK STEAM (I say that even though I have almost 300 games on it, and I'm pretty much always online on it when I'm home)
Ok ill consider it
Ok
Ok cool. And i kinda use Steam because Orgin F**ked me over by erasing all dlc and data i had for a game. And nobody i know has had that problem with steam.
You get more choices and consequences than any telltale episode has, and the episodes are far longer, but the interface and gameplay are an acquired taste.
Did you try to contact the custommer support team?
Because Origin's custommer support is actually excellent, they are extremely nice and helpful and they also offer full refunds no questions asked within a time period of 24 hours, also the Origin client uses less memory than Steam's which is also good, Origin is actually surprisingly better than I expected, the only reason I haven't used it much is because I don't want to give money to EA since Spore, I'm still pissed about that, but anyway seriously Origin's custommer support is super good you should contact them if you have any trouble, they are also pretty fast at responding, well at least from my experience, Steam is absolute shit in that department.
I'm not really in favour of any particular store (Well I am biased towards Gog.com because DRM Free!), but it's good to know the strenghths of each one, for example Gamersgate.com always gives you a percentage of your purchase back in store credit called Blue Coins, so being a loyal custommer to them gets you free games, it's good to buy from them if you like steam too, for example if you are going to buy a game that has Steamworks DRM at full price it might be best for you to purchase it there as you'll get a percentage of your money back.
I still use Origin but my main games are on Steam. The problem i had with Origin is that all my bougth dlc are gone and it keeps acting like i never bought them in the first place.
Have you contacted custommer support about it?
All you need are the receipts that they sent you by E-Mail, contact them and show those to them, they'll give your DLC back if you do that.
I mean if you want it back that is.
The email is broken. I used a new one for steam. But thanks for trying to help you are awesome
