This fine gentleman is the director, writer, and producer. So he'd make it.

I've never seen it either, just heard of it as being one of the most savage and brutal films to ever be put out there. And yes, I do think it's fucked up to have a film depicting acts of necrophilia, child pornography, and rape in such a "lavish" manner.

But, then again, a lot of fucked up films come out of Serbia.

Out of curiosity, have you seen 120 Days of Sodom? Another exploitation film that I have actually seen, and it's quite grotesque. The film actually got the director killed, I believe he was hung and stabbed in a street in broad daylight. So yeah, shit's rough out there.

Oh yea, that disgusting piece shit excuse for a "movie." I personally haven't watched it, but I did read the synopsis. Who in the absolute fuck would make a film like this!!?

    "...Why?"

    "You brought this on yourself."

    "...We were helping..."

Trust me, this could quickly become a "quote Spec Ops chain thread." Fucking chills.

"He turned us into fucking killers!" That line always gets me.

  • Well that guy is a douche for making it. I remember someone said the movie was supposed to be some form of satire against the Serbain government? I don't know, I'm just basing it off of what someone on Ytube said. I honestly don't believe it, but whatever. And if it were a satire, then what the hell is satirical about this shit!

Lol. Looks like I'm never watching any movies from Serbia from now on.

Yea, I have heard of 120 Days of Sodom much to my dismay. :( I heard it was like, up to par with the grotesqueness of A Serbian Film. Rape, torture, murder, shit fucking everything in this movie. I don't plan on watching it any time soon. Hell, I didn't even read the plot summary of the movie. I feel like if I were to read the plot summary, I'm most likely going to feel like crap. Since you've seen it, can you pls tell me a little description of what the movie is about? I saw a few clips on Ytube, but just on Watchmojo's channel. Is it like 4 dudes kidnap teenagers and have them do fucked up shit?

The film actually got the director killed

Whoa there what!? Damn, I didn't think the movie would be that bad enough to get him killed! I just read that the director got ran over with his car and burned with gasoline... God damn...

  • 120 Days is a film about a this small group of men who take in a bunch of teenagers into a castle and pretty much torture them by means of making them eat out of dog bowls after chaining them up and forcibly making a woman eat feces. The end is pretty fucked up, it shows them being brutally murdered and the soldiers comfortably embrace and dance to the atrocities.

Now, from what I've heard, and I can't conform this but the novel is a bit more interesting because of the way it was supposedly written. But, the movie was almost two hours of general unpleasantness, which was the point I think.

    Will never watch again though.

  • Seriously, this part gets me really hard. When I fired the white phosphorus to the ground, I was like "YEAAHH! TAKE THAT YOU SONS OF BITCHES! YOU'RE MESSING WITH THE WRONG UNIT!". Then the dying soldier asked, "Why?".... Something inside me died when I saw the burned mother with her infant... I'm a murderer...

The White Phosphorous scene in Spec Ops: The Line shook me up a bit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-b7TaLjdXMc

  • Yes, Akira is awesome, but this part is really fucked up i guess it's part of what makes this scene so good

I really felt bad for Jesus during that movie, and some people even say he had it worse in reallity (If you believe in him of course, i personally do)

Pretty much every scene in "The Passion of the Christ."

I don't know if it classifies as 'disturbing'...but it's absorbing nevertheless and it gets me everytime. You got to watch the whole scene... and it might be more powerful if you're watching the whole movie. And god, everything, the long takes, the camera angles and movements, the things they say and how they say them, this humming static sound, the fact that it all takes place in broad daylight, the subtle toying with audience anticipation... just everything in this scene is creepy perfection.

  • It's hard not to feel bad for Jesus in that movie man! The first time I watched it when I was little, I closed my eyes during the crucifixion scene. I still find that part hard to watch.
