Walking Dead Season 1 saves are gone

When I open the game all of my save data is gone.

I ran the support tool. Here is the link:

    Please rename the prefs.prop file in

    C:\Users\Chris\Documents\Games\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead

    to prefs.prop.bak to disable it, then restart the game, and your Season One save files will be restored!

    I renamed the file and restarted the game. This did not work. Any other suggestions?

    If that did not work, please also rename the prefs.prop file in

    C:\Users\Chris\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead

    to prefs.prop.bak, then rename the first one back to prefs.prop, then restart the game and see if your save files are restored.
