I have seen so many articles online debating this and I’d like to say he will be but that doesn’t explain why the Japanese seiyuu for Snake has remained consistent and Sutherland replaced Hayter.

That would be like saying the guy who made Megaman, isn't abandoning megaman, just not making any more megaman games anymore because they had a falling out w/ capcom.

He might be now, I heard Kojima didn't want him in the sequel, now that he isn't apart of it, Konami might reach out to him.

Yeah, Konami is already planning to make MGS games without Kojima, i just hope they don't release a game every year.
