Forum Statistics (2 NEW SURVEYS UP)

edited April 2015 in General Chat

Hey guys, for a class project we have to make up a survey or a study. It can be online so I thought what better place to do one on then the forum im literally already on 24/7 :D So i'd love if you guys could take part in me making the statistics, at this moment i'm only doing 2 different kind of unique statistical makings.

  1. "Racial Preferences" So as of late many have been talking about their 'racial preference' when it comes to who they're attracted too dating wise.

  1. View on each religion - I was curious 'What do people rate a certain religion out of 100?' 0 would be No.. I dont like this religion at all, 100 would be i'm fully on board with this religion.

  1. Countries Survey - Each Country is different I want to find out which countries are more liberal than others and etc.

  1. Whats the best Canadian City - True North and Strong. (LOOK UP CITIES YOU DONT KNOW)

  • I'll post results soon and im making second one right now

  • Is it possible to add a feature that will allow you to check multiple boxes? I'm attracted to more than one race, and I don't have one that I'm most attracted to.

Well it's kind of going to hard for me to add them up with multiple options too choose. If you arent attracted to a race more than another (which some arent but theres nothing wrong with liking persons partly based on races) Then pick the race that you've dated/liked the most.

    Thanks for taking part :)

  • That was fun, I hope there will be more, I love surveys.

  • Thanks :D

    Any suggestions for another question?

  • I was considering doing something like that, asking everyone what country their from and seeing which countrys seem to be the most liberal and most conservatives

I know that this Forum can be very...Opinionated about many political issues so making one about political views can be good and get good results.

  • That seems like a good one. You could do another one on many controversial topics around today like racism, sexism, homosexuality, and some things about where they think the future will go.

  • Yeah, some of the choices are forced. Like, there isn't really any race I dislike the most, but I have to pick one. It's the person, not the race. :)

  • Yeah I agree :)

But race attraction is a fairly unconscious natural thing people do (selective breeding mindset) but when i refer to the race you'd like to date the least i'm not asking if you'd never date them. Surely most of us would date the race we put at the bottom right? :)

  • I HAVE VERY EARLY DATA:

For the religion survey out of 100 I have very early data from voters on the forum here they are, all religions are ranked out of 100 on what you guys voted them.

    8th: Muslim - 37/100

    7th: Mormon - 56/100

    &

    6th: Catholic - 56/100

    5th: Hindu - 58/100

    4th: Christianity - 60/100

    3rd: Judaism - 61/100

    2nd: None/Agnostic/Atheist - 69/100

    1st: Buddhism - 70/100

  • more results soon :)

  • I'm attracted to and had crushes on girls from all races on that list in my life but if I had to choose Spanish Senoritas are amazing hispanic

Relgion I want to choose catholic to represent but I'll chose Buddhism the most spiritual and I've seen documentary's of the feats that can do, going months without food in meditation, setting paper on fire with there mind(scientists even saw it and couldn't believe it) among other things they have the most cool tricks and the most peaceful to :)

I'm still deciding on the third question

  • How did Judaism gain more than Christianity when I'm one of the sole Jews here and I gave Christianity more credit? lmao

  • New results on country views coming soon for USA!

  • edited April 2015

Hows does the United States Of America compare to the rest of the worlds statistics (early still), I have about 15 responses from Americans and in total I got 30 responses from over 10 countries so Americans made up a little over half of all the people who took it. Here are the results on how Americans views compare to the worlds.

Do you consider yourself to be a feminist?

    World:

    Yes: 55%

    No: 45%

    America

    Yes: 55%

    No: 45%

What side are you on for Abortion?

    World:

    Pro Choice: 51%

    Depends: 33%

    Pro Life: 11%

    Undecided: 2%

    America

    Pro Choice: 45%

    Depends: 36%

    Pro Life: 9%

    Undecided: 0%

    Are you Liberal or Conservative?

    World:

    Liberal: 51%

    Middle: 37%

    Conservative: 11%

    America

    Liberal: 27%

    Middle: 45%

    Conservative: 27%

    Do you agree with polygamy?

    World:

    Yes: 24%

    No: 76%

    America

    Yes: 0%

    No: 100%

Do you agree with gay marriage?

    World:

    Yes: 92%

    No: 7%

    America

    Yes: 80%

    No: 20%

Do you believe in a god?

    World:

    Yes: 51%

    No: 49%

    America

    Yes: 45%

    No: 55%

So are you Americans happy with the differences or upset? Explain :)

  • Some are great.. some arent.

    World:

    Yes: 92%

    No: 7%

    America

    Yes: 80%

    No: 20%

sigh even though its still a majority its sad to think Americans are still behind most first world countries in general. I find America generally just a more bigoted place generally.

Lol, no Americans supported polygamy. Honestly, if you allow gay marriage, I see little reason not to allow polygamy. Though that would be a lot trickier legally. People will probably get pissed at me for saying that, but if you validate marriage based on consent, I don't see why multiple consenting adults should be excluded.

  • BUT THAT WOULD B CHANGING DEFINITION OF MARRIAGE!!!!!!!!

AND YE I KNOW WE DID THAT WITH INTERRACIAL MARRIAGE AND NON RELIGIOUS MARRIAGE BUT THIS IS DIFFERENT BECAUSE IT IS!!!!!!!! RAHH!!!!

CONSENTING ADULTS SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED TO DO WHAT THEY WANT, ESPECIALLY IF IT DOESNT HURT ANYONE ELSE!!!!!!

  • I said no. I'm okay with people having consensual polygamous relationships but I'm thinking less of that and more about Mormon girls that are being forced into these awful situations where they have to marry a much older man with a bunch of wives. Not all polygamous Mormon relationships are like that, but I worry for the girls that are forced into them having one less way to legally get out of them. It also seems to be only men with multiple wives and not the other way around.

I also wonder how that would work legally. And how many people could be married to each other? Three? Seven? What would the limit be? I could also definitely see people getting into marriages with many partners just to reap the insurance benefits, among other things. It would make everything confusing.

  • That's a good question. I guess it could be any time, but the discussion usually is about surgical abortion which can happen the earliest at like 7-8 weeks.

  • For the fourth survey I was thinking of doing one about tattoos and piercings and make it interesting. My family is Jewish so when my cousin got a tattoo on his back they where really upset and yeah. :3
