Wait a sec... The school name is Blackwell and the principal name is Wells and he is black? ...

  • I just don't think Victoria is his type.

  • Someone get that family some driving lessons.

  • OH MY FUCKIGN GOD WHAT THE FUCK OH MY GOD IM SO SORRY WHY DID THIS HAPPENS OFMGGHUGBIFBHIU

No, but seriously - that ending was genuinely the first time for a game to make me audibly gasp in quite a while. Firstly - fuck off Victoria. Secondly - How the fuck is Kate? Thirdly - Hi, Chloe's dad. Fourthly - CHLOE WHY

This isn't okay. This isn't an okay cliffhanger. I haven't been this excited for an episode since Season 2 of TWD. When I was saving her dad, I knew I shouldn't, but that wasn't an option. I have a feeling that there will be a massive branching path here, with a few happy endings for Chloe but many more bad ones. Maybe we can save her dad but also stop her from becoming disabled. There are almost infinite possibilities here - I am not disappointed.

    .

  • Don't forget the "black well" of ants surrounding the dead bird by the restaurant.

  • I only have one question regard the ending. Is saving William really worth it? Even if it means causing Chloe to become disabled?

  • I expect we'll have to prove our powers to Chloe and then tell her the alternate timeline, letting her make the decision.

  • This new timeline is all wrong, it has created a paradox.

Order to this timeline to exist William needs to die, so Max will save Chloe. If William is alive Chloe is never in that bathroom, Max never get her powers and will no go back in time to save Chloes dad in a first place, and if Max won't save him he is dead... But he is not now, thats the Paradox, this universe is abomination, it would not matter if Chloe is happy or William is alive, it is not meant to be. That paradox will destroy everything or very least the Paradoxs hot spot, wich is Arcadia Bay, maybe that Tornado is that paradox fixing time?

  • I hope we get the choice to go back.

  • As someone who doesnt really like chloe

The whole point is their trying to make you like her! You have to spend time with someone for them to grow on you.

Dialogue changes certainly but besides that very little

No, lots of the dialogue changes a lot actually, also im curious what you expect? Of course the story is going to be generally linear but you can definitely tell theres a butterfly effect. And anyways more things change then just the dialogue.

You're investigating three areas and then the ending. As someone who doesnt really like chloe it wasnt that great to be stuck with just her

I thought I might as well rate the episodes

Chrysalis - 6/10 - SLOW even for a first episode...The last 40 minutes makes up for the previous 2 hours though.

Out of Time - 7.5/10 Still slow but hanging with Chloe was kinda fun. The episode Finishes strong though with a fantastic final scene.

Chaos Theory - 8.5/10 Slow but for a good reason. Exploring the school with Chloe was fun but after that the episode kinda loses momentum until the last half hour. This Episode also has a fantastic cliffhanger! Yay, dontnod figured out how to make cliffhangers.

Overall so far - I'm enjoying Life is Strange. It takes a while to seep into the leisure pacing but once you do it grows on you after 3 episodes... :P

  • Believe me, you weren't the only one lol

No I just got mindfucked. I hate that shit.

  • Seriously though does anyone else think that David gets too much hate? I think he means well, he just has a bad way of showing it.

  • Cameras in the house, thats fucked up.

  • I don't have enough information to decide yet.

  • I get that and I stood up for him. He's just a little too judgmental.

  • Looking at Chloe and assuming she's worse off is unnecessarily cruel don't you think?

  • If that was the only time Max could get her powers then it would already be too late.

You actually have to take a photo of Chloe (the hawk is just part of the photo) when she's at the computer. Personally I think that's been the best optional photo so far, it looks really cool.

Anybody else unable to take a picture of the bronze hawk in episode 3?

I thought that was a lot of fun, managed to get all the optional photos and the ending was actually really nice, though for some reason when those "cinematic" endings start up (where it gets sort of fuzzy and if someone speaks the subtitles are bigger) the dialog is silent, I can hear the music but no dialog, anyone know how to fix that? Anyway that was a lot of fun.

Personally I'm excited to see what happens when we're friends with the vortex club, maybe we'll learn more about their personalities and lives.

  • This episode kinda was really eh, worse of the three.

It was okay till the ending. It made me really upset that we changed all of history and everything is different. I can't romance Warren, we're friends with the dicks in Vortex Club, Chloe is in a wheelchair. Also we better be able to go back to the normal world or everything in the last two games wouldn't have ever mattered. Endings and games where you can go back in time and change everything to where it never happened are okay except when it's a choice based game where your choices decide what happens.

Also, I never saw the gun in Frank's trailer and I let him have it which annoys me a lot.

Honestly I would give this episode 7/10 at best.

  • And btw, how do you save Lisa? I did everything I could to keep her alive ;_;

Did you water her first episode and not in the second yet?

Okay... Okay.. Relax... WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED!? I knew that would have consequences, but shit, didn't think anything like that. I d

  • No.

I like William, he's a really cool dude but...It seems like she would be unhappy being stuck in a wheelchair and what looks like hooked up to other medical stuff.

Can someone give me a brain transplant like the one Patrick had in Spongebob Squarepants? This brain just died. o-0

We dont know the history will remain changed? I agree with you.. it better go back or atleast we should have the option..if we do i'm for sure going back to how it was before.

The more I find myself defending this episode the more Iike it.

  • Eh, I just don't like the future, through the entire thing since Warren I just kept saying "No, this isn't right."...The entire thing, I mean we did it all for Chloe and hell, she's disabled now.

I think the irony of what happens to her is kind of great in a narrative sense.

What was your favorite part of the episode?

  • What was your favorite part of the episode?

  • I loved telling Chloe to grow up.

Seriously, who the fuck blames their dead dad for dying?

What was your favorite part of the episode?

  • Ok, that's actually really great.

People do even if they know it's an irrational thing, emotions sometimes make us jump to the extreme. Though I do admit telling her to grow up was great.

    1. 9/10. Gotta leave some room just in case I like another episode more :)

    2. Hmm I'm not sure. Episode 3 I think.

    3. None? Lol I guess Episode 1.

    4. Go back definitely. I don't want Max being anywhere near Nathan and Victoria and I can't stand seeing my Chloe in a wheelchair.

    :(

    1. Hella yes :)

    1. 8/10
    2. Chaos Theory
    3. Chrysalis
    4. Go Back (I'm certain making William stay is what will cause the tornado so needs of the many outweigh needs of the few).
    5. No, I don't like her
