Nein, wir sind der Jaegar!
In Japan, 7-Eleven is offering limited edition statues of Attack on Titan’s Lev… morei Ackerman and Eren Yeager. The Eren statue measures 172 cm (5.64 feet), while the Levi one is 162 cm (5.3 feet). Each is priced at 1,728,000 yen (US$14,438)

One of the things that makes it so special is how every episode (with a few exceptions) are these little encapsulated stories that are frequently homages to classic western films. They all have a wildly different tone, and each one feels like a tiny movie.
It's the most rewatchable show I've ever seen, and I make a ritual out of it every year. It only gets better with time.
Not so long ago, I finished watching Cowbow Bebop. An excellent anime in my opinion. I always love science-fiction combined with a crew of c… moreharacters. Also, the take on the future is very fascinating. I like how most of the episodes consist of the characters living their lives in a wide universe in stead of facing a galactic wide danger. They aren't heroes, they are just people. There is no overall act besides the character's own personal story. It is just life.
And the music is god-like.
I like the BIG O, that is all. I liked Pokemon when i was a kid, i thought it was extremely funny. I felt bad for James, i know what it feels like to be dominated by a woman, and with little recourse for escape.
Well he was pretty submissive in his previous life before Team Rocket (rich parents marrying him off for status), but I don't know if we can really extrapolate that much from a childrens show.

(Sorry for the late reply) I entirely disagree. Kirito was an absolutely awful character who I found to be absolutely unlikable. He seemed to be bale to seduce anyone he pleases, and then just abandons them after one episode. Asuna, the only character I found to be somewhat likable, was strong for a while and then eventually just became Kirito's shitty tsundere (like in that scene where her "bodyguard" is trying to take her, and she hides behind Kirito. She could have easily taken him herself). This is without even starting on ALO, as that part actually offended and sickened me (what the fuck was that rape scene) and when it didn't do that, it was pure garbage.
The ending of the actual SAO arc. When I saw Asuna die, my reaction was "Kirito is gonna go crazy and destroy him now, saving everyone." but instead he let Asuna's sacrifice be for nothing, getting himself killed, and then he did something absolutely impossible by overcoming death - you can't overcome a computer system through sheer willpower or whatever the fuck that was.
There are so many flaws in Sword Art Online that I could list, but I don't think you really want me to bore you with the details. It's one of the only anime i've actually hated before.
You classify Attack on Titan as horror? I'd say that falls moreso under regular as it's somewhat of a shonen. It's disturbing in some places, but so is Dragon Ball and quite a few others.
Ah, Anime. The greatest thing This side of the Cosmos. There are many types of Anime In my opinion, and I love them all.
There is,
*… more Regular Anime: Such as Sword Art Online, Akira, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Etc.
* Serious Cartoons: Shows that aren't anime but are Serious in a Nature that they deserve to be. Example: Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, Teen Titans.
* Harem Anime: Anime that's often Sexualized. Such as, Heavens Lost Property, Girls Bravo, Etc.
* Anime based Live Action Movies: Shit.
* Children Anime: Anime that was Made Popular in america for the Purpose of Child Viewing. Example: Pokemon, LBX, Etc.
* Horror Anime: Anime that is often Disturbing, or Scary. Such as, Attack on Titan, Corpse Party, Elfen Lied.
All of these animes are the Best. Which one should we talk about my Fellow Otakus?
List of my top 5 anime:
* Steins;gate
* Dragonball
* Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood
* Dragonball Z
* Attack on Titan
… more
My least favourite anime (1 is the worst)
* High School of the Dead (a decent story ruined by constant ecchi)
4.One Piece
* Lesbian Bear Storm (don't ask - i forgot the japanese title, but i know that's what it translates to)
* Sword Art Online
* Kiss x Sis (never again)
I disagree with the "Straße" example. The "ß" letter denotes a "s" sound after a long vowel, while double "s" (or any doubled consonant) is used after a short vowel sound.
Can't say anything about "Jäger", aside from the fact that it's possible that usage of umlaut is mandatory, at least in German, and is not in fact an alternate way of spelling. Can't be 100% sure, though, but that's how I think it is.
I've reached the limit of my German:
I'm pretty sure they're alternate spellings. Same thing with Strasse and Straße. Jaeger is just a way of writing Jäger without the umlaut.

Kirito was an absolutely awful character who I found to be absolutely unlikable. He seemed to be bale to seduce anyone he pleases,
I will admit, That was an annoying thing about Kazuto, He always seemed to lure girls to him and they'd fall in love with him without reason, which was a HUGE fault on the writers part, it was completely stupid, and the Only relationship that seemed to Make sense was Him and Sinon's relationship, Because she bullied and yelled at him for being a douche like He is. But either way, He was a reasonably likable character whenever he wasn't around (Or speaking of) a bunch of girls. Girls pretty much killed Kazuto's character Development.
Asuna, the only character I found to be somewhat likable, was strong for a while and then eventually just became Kirito's shitty tsundere (like in that scene where her "bodyguard" is trying to take her, and she hides behind Kirito. She could have easily taken him herself)
Okay, I agree that Asuna was good and then became the damsel, I liked Asuna better in Sword art Online 2. Where she had few Lines and only appeared in every other episode for one scene. XD The scene about the body guard though, Most people forget that her Bodyguard was also part of the Laughing Coffin, which was an evil group of People who lived to kill, Not to mention Kazuto and Him were far above in levels with Asuna, so her trusting the High leveled Kazuto to fight The High Leveled Bodyguard makes sense.
This is without even starting on ALO, as that part actually offended and sickened me (what the fuck was that rape scene) and when it didn't do that, it was pure garbage.
I know right? After the first 3 episodes I pretty much decided to Skip ALO completely and watch the last 2 episodes, which were the Only episodes in that Arc even worth watching.
The ending of the actual SAO arc. Well, To be fair, every member of the Laughing Coffin survived, and in the Novel, Kazuto was part of a secret program where he learned Sachi survived. So it might've been Possible, It's just that either Kazuto's high level Broke the system, The game creator permitted him to live, or yeah,it was That willpower bullshit that they pull in the movies.
I stand by most of my points, but the willpower bullshit thing I can't disagree on because I don't know enough SAO lore or info to say anything. My biggest disappointment in SAO has to be that ending to the SAO arc, though. I was hyped for an epic fight scene that just didn't happened and it ruined the ending completely for me.

I just finished watching Parasyte yesterday, it was OK, I loved the first few episodes but I found the initial Shinichi character to be very compelling and I stopped caring for the character a lot after the personality change, not that it wasn't well done or anything but I guess that kind of "bad-ass" character is something that doesn't resonate with me, to be honest I find a character that will fight despite the fact that they are weak and afraid much more bad-ass than some fearless type calm "bad-ass", it was entertaining but eh I guess it didn't go in the direction I wanted it to take.
Anyway it's not bad but the girlfriend and really most characters were really underdeveloped and the main character wasn't interesting enough to carry the show for me, plus it made me yell at the screen a lot because the characters made stupid decisions, I don't remember what stupid decisions but my neighbour came to shut me up because apparently someone made a stupid enough decision that I yelled loud enough to bother him.
Though talking about Psycho-Pass I loved the first season of that show it was great, I even liked the ending, I think it did a much better job of being about moral greys than Parasyte that really wanted to be that, I did not care for the second season though.
Comments
If a little bitchy......
Was ist "der Jaeger" auf Englisch? Ich habe es gehört nie.
I have two animes which I adore alongside there manga predecessors:
Death Note (how original of me) and Vampire Knight.
Hunter.
@AWESOMEO
Somebody must really hate you.
He's saying you're scared of this thread because we weeaboos- i honestly have no idea.
Talk about being obssesed with something.
pfft no he loves me
yeah probs
Thanks, saw it yesterday and God I want it.
Death Note: Everything about it was amazing until episode 26, afterwards it got a bit dull
Detective Conan: Its genius and it is one of my favorites to be honest
Attack on Titan: Seriously one of the most exciting and dramatic anime in a long time. Never a boring moment
Dragon Ball Z: Its my childhood and besides the follow up of the series is at July. HYPE!
Naruto and Naruto Shipuuden: It can be legitimately bad ass at times, but the amount of filler holds it back a lot.
Corpse Party: Really messed up and horrifying which makes it amazing
Highschool DxD: If you know this anime, you know the ridicules amount of fan service it has. Allas, its an anime where I always find hilarity.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Radical and its always enjoyable to watch

Dude, i'm pretty sure that's not how their relationship worked.
I loved Soul Eater with all my heart.

steins;gate is by far my favorite anime. did you know that a sequel is in the works?

well the shitty numbering system fucked my list up. the top is the best out of the 5, bottom is the worst.

Well, just goes to show how piss-poor my German is...
Tokyo Ghoul needs more recognition. I hardly ever see anyone talking about it.
Black Butler is my favorite anime tv series
True. But that's a matter of opinion.

That's true. I guess there are some horror aspects.
And there are defenitley some aspects you talked about in there as well.

So true.
It would make sense. After all, there are many variations in English as well (colour and color for example).
Is the anime called Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (English: Your Lie in April) any good?
Naruto - Probably my favorite.. Some filler arcs get realllllly annoying tho xD
DBZ - This and Naruto fight for my favorite..
Akame ga Kill - Short anime, but it was definitely brutal how they treated the main characters..
Soul Eater - One of the best I've watched. The world was just so interesting.
Tokyo Ghoul - People eating people.. That is all.
Some of my personal favorites xD
I love Black Lagoon!
It's such dumb 80s action movie fun! I love its punkrock sensibility and the dark places it can go while still being crazy.
