is every game a piece of shit to you???
how anyone could consider skyrim the worst game theyve ever played is beyond me - it's definitely on my top 10.
Skyrim? Really? Come on it's not even close to the qorst game ever. The only chef glitch I've encountered is the frequent freezing which is common in all Bethesda games (Way worse in Fallout 3).
Overrated steaming pile of shit...
How this won GOTY , I'll never know.
Weak storyline , forgettable characters ,stiff animation , and game breaking glitches.
I agree, the gameplay is pretty fantastic, but it was always short on the story end. Pitiful writing, few characters, and un-interesting ones at that. The music was awesome though. The sheer level of content is what makes me enjoy the game the most, I've dumped 600 hours into the game, and I haven't even scratched the surface of the available dungeons. The combat is where the game shines, it allows you to do whatever you want really. Other than that, it is fairly overrated.
If you are looking for a game with a ton of attention put into both gameplay AND story, I'd go for The Witcher series. Tons of violence, sexual content, and swearing, though, so if that's not your thing, I wouldn't go for it. Otherwise, it is wonderful, the gameplay is enjoyable, challenging, but equally rewarding, and the story and writing is where it really, really shines. Some of the dialogue is just goddamn poetic, and a lot of work is put into the game in that aspect, plus your choices effect the story line, and the Witcher 2 has multiple endings, the Witcher 3, even more.
The Witcher 1 was alright, but it just hasn't aged well, relatively speaking, it looks, and plays shitty. Luckily, the entire game is re-capped in The Witcher 2 (Which is fantastic) so you don't HAVE to play it, and I don't recommend you do so unless you are really into the games lore.
I don't play many games that I don't like, but I have to say that Battlefield 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Call of Duty: Black Ops… more 2 were all really bad shooters. Not very much fun at all.
Edit: I've never played any beyond Black Ops 2, and I never played Modern Warfare 3, which might have come out before Black Ops 2 but I don't really know and I'm not interested in spending the 15 seconds to look it up, which I could have been doing while making this edit. Anyways, Call of Duty and Battlefield games in the last few years have been awful. I enjoyed Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and the first Black Ops was pretty good, but after that, meh.

Big Rigs. I fuckin despise that game. For a simple amount of reasons:
* "Select Car" instead of "Select Truck"
* This was actually sol… mored
* It says "YOU'RE WINNER"
* You win no matter what
* Graphics are dreadful
* Has more bugs than AC: Unity
* Somebody actually gave this an ESRB rating
* Somebody made this game
I don't play games that are widely disregarded by the public, but if I had to say one, I suppose Dead Island. Yes, yes, you could say that I hated it because it was a disappointment compared to its trailer. But the thing I absolutely despise about the game was the long and boring escort missions. They were fucking unbearable! Especially by the third act as the escort missions required you to go from point A, all the way to fucking point Z. The characters weren't fleshed out well, all of the missions consist of chores, and the weapons were pretty bad. And the upgrades didn't make 'em any better.
Another game that technically doesn't count as it is a remake, Silent Hill HD Collections was disappointing as fuck. Not because of the actual games, but because the game was buggy as all hell. I loved Silent Hill 2 & 3, and it breaks my heart to see them get butchered in this HD Collection. Low ass frame rate drops, missing sound effects, and poor voice acting in the third remake. I still have the game as it's my only source of Silent Hill. Fuck you Konami.
I think that even in terrible games you can find something good in them if you look. I actually do a podcast all about finding something neat in critically panned retro games.
Some of my favorite stinkers include the NES classic Monster Party (a really bizarre game with an even weirder development history), T.R.A.G. for PS1 (a mashup of Resident Evil, Die Hard and anime tropes with the worst tank controls I've ever seen), LSD: Dream Simulator (which is precisely what you think it is).
Even terrible games have something worth appreciating!
Worst game you've ever played. REALLY? Judging from some of these entries you guys are really fucking hard on some games people really enjoy, instead of picking really shitty games nobody likes.
Black Ops 2? Really? I don't get. I seriously don't understand how anyone, let alone a Call Of Duty fan, can dislike it. It's one of the first shooters I've ever owned and I thought it was awesome.

Lag compensation made reaction times practically meaningless in an effort to make the game easier for newcomers. The guns were either over or underpowered. The zombie maps were not nearly as fun as the maps in the previous games, nor were the multiplayer maps. It did have a nice class and perk system I'll give it that, but the game itself focused far too much on trying to make it easy, and making it super fast paced. Previous CoD games were fast, but this attempted to eliminate all possibilities of slowing the pace down by removing all possible camping locations. In the end, it was just a bunch of people running around in circles spraying Mp7's and Scorpion Evo's. I prefer a tactical shooter, particularly objective based ones, such as Red Orchestra and Verdun.

I certainly don't consider it the worst, but it's nowhere near my top 10. Without mods it's downright boring in my opinion. I agree with Cope that the story was pretty lame, and the characters were forgettable, especially since 90% of them had the same voice actors.

I just remembered another game that I considered to be the 'worst', but it's really more of a guilty pleasure for me due to the 'so bad, it's good' factor.
Horrible voice acting, boring story, bland graphics, forgettable characters, lousy scares and atmosphere...but the gameplay itself is rather innovative and interesting if handled poorly. I was hoping for another game that would allow you to play as the cameraman where you had to capture stories and events within the viewfinder.

Fully agree with this. If anything, this just goes to show some people here have little experience playing video games if they think something like that is bad. Goes to show they've never played an actual bad game before.

Ugh. I hate how people Blindly Complain about Sonic 06 and Boom without looking at the Obvious upsides to the game, and Only complain, "AHHHH! IT HAS BUGGGGSSSSSGF[NHPORW;BGV!!!"
I have three.
These pieces of shit right here:
Also, This worthless Fucking disgrace to the Original Chaos Theory is one of the MANY reasons I hate Nintendo.
Agreed. It's fun to play for about an Hour or 2, But the Fact that it's so overrated that people call it the best game ever, adding on to the Repeditive BS, It's shit. Worth 5 bucks at the most.

The game takes place in Chicago, as far as I know. Guess the name Michigan refers to the lake next to it judging by Google Map, since a plane of sorts falls into it and spreads an epidemic after the crash.

in my opinion.
All MOBA's ever.
It's #1 on my list of worst games ever ...
And no not every game. I've played some great games and I've played some shitty games . And so have you.
I think I have played a terrible game in the past, but I must have forcefully erased my memory of it in order to keep on living.

Arma 3 for the win.
well if this is the worst game you have ever played then you must have never played a truly bad game lucky you i guess
i don't even need to say anything
My favorites are Arma 3, Red Orchestra 2/Rising Storm, and Verdun.
That game looks hilarious.
I'm very picky...

I bought it for shits and giggles...There were a lot of "shit's" but no "giggles"

Never been a fan of them myself.

Sonic the Hedgehog (The 2006 pile of crap, not the original. The original is a true classic).
I stumbled upon a let's play of this game, the voice acting was hilariously bad. Also, the player kept knocking over Brisco (?). xD
Fully agree with this. If anything, this just goes to show some people here have little experience playing video games if they think something like that is bad. Goes to show they've never played an actual bad game before.
Arkham Origins? Seriously? I know it wasn't as good as the other but worst game ever worthy? Take it you never played an actual bad game before.
As for me, it's either Spytoy, Sonic Boom or the Street Fighter movie tie-in game.
i agree , skyrim was really boring, but it wasn't the worst. Play Gone home, and compare, I dare you.
Waaaat.
That game is badass. You can go passed the speed of sound if you drive in reverse and there's no limits!
I have three.

But, that's your opinion, it's fine.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is definitely not worth 59.99. Total one-time playthrough.

"Michigan: Report from Hell"
Is it a game about Detroit?
How is GoW a piece of shit? I loved it.
Look, The 2nd one is Great, But the first one was so god damned stupid. It was bland and boring.
The game takes place in Chicago, as far as I know. Guess the name Michigan refers to the lake next to it judging by Google Map, since a plane of sorts falls into it and spreads an epidemic after the crash.
I didn't play the first one, but I really loved the 3rd, and liked the 4th.
I agree completely, pile of shit, that game is.
You shouldn't hate Nintendo because of Splinter Cell 3D. Nintendo didn't even develop it. Ubisoft did, you should blame them.
