I don't make a habit of playing truly 'bad games'. And when I find myself playing a game I'm not enjoying, I usually don't finish it. I've got far too big a backlog to waste time playing crap. That said, there are a few that come to mind.
Sonic Adventure
Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier
Fable III
Shadow the Hedgehog
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Battlefield: Bad Company
Star Fox: Assault
Mass Effect 3
Ok so ME3 wasn't a terrible game (maybe), but it's definitely the most disappointing game I've ever played. Three years later and I'm still not over it.
Side-tracking the topic a little, what does everyone think when it comes to hearing the worst music in video games?
I found myself laughi… moreng my head off listening to Resident Evil: Director's Cut, it's just so terrible.

I have many reasons, Their games are great, Which is something No one understands about my Opinion of Nintendo. Though their games are Repeditive, They're still fun as hell, But the company themselves is Unfair, Shitty and They hate their Fans more than Konami hates theirs. I actually Love Nintendo Pre-Pokemon Gen 4, Before Gen 4, Everything they did was fair to their fans, and I especially realized that Playing the Best Zelda Game of all time, Link to the Past (My Twilight Princess post is irrelevant now), I had so much fun, even with my Sprained Leg paining Me. But after Gen 4, their Games felt fun, But sloppy, and Their Policies became stricter than The Final mission in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.
Anyway, About this,
Nintendo didn't even develop it. Ubisoft did, you should blame them.
Trust me, I have enough to hate about Ubisoft, I won't blame them for it. The game isn't bad, The graphics and controls, Plus lack of New 3DS remake for it is what Gets me.
I think that even in terrible games you can find something good in them if you look. I actually do a podcast all about finding something nea… moret in critically panned retro games.
Some of my favorite stinkers include the NES classic Monster Party (a really bizarre game with an even weirder development history), T.R.A.G. for PS1 (a mashup of Resident Evil, Die Hard and anime tropes with the worst tank controls I've ever seen), LSD: Dream Simulator (which is precisely what you think it is).
Even terrible games have something worth appreciating!

I have three.
These pieces of shit right here:
Also, This worthless Fucking disgrace to the Original Chaos Theory is one of the MANY reasons I hate Nintendo.
I played through it twice. Second time was far more enjoyable. There's variants to heists AND you just don't get to see everything the first time playing through it (it's literally impossible to). I never knew Michael for example had the biggest Stranger mission in the game. I always knew something was up when it looked like he never had one. And I only found that out on my PC playthough. Oh and l just love finding out that when you start the mission depending on who you start it as it has a different openign. There's several things in the game that you just go in awe of knowing exists and go; "Jesus, they REALLY went the extra mile with this game." The one I just said there is a prime example.
I've bought the game 3 times. It's one of the finest examples of making video games. Shows how supreme Rockstar truly are as game developers to make immersive, atmospheric and most importantly, fun games. GTA is huge. And normally I'm one of those people to jump the bandwagon and hate on popular things but not them, the game took 5 years to make, and it shows. Truly one of my favourite games of last gen. Only rivalled by ANOTHER masterpiece from the same company called Red Dead Redemption.
Very poor shooters that aren't helping the FPS market.
Modern Warfare 3: Not good
Ghosts: God awful
Battlefield 3: Not good either
Titianfall, or as I like to call it, Titianfail, was so boring. Great gameplay, but it just wasn't a game I could play for several weeks. Wall running got boring, the Titians were irritating, and little to no customization.
This one right here is a special case:
Star Wars: Battlefront 3 is already shit. I already pre-ordered it, cause I'm gonna wanna play it, but the lack of many features is basically an insult to gamers. No space combat, no single player, only 20 v 20 and below, I mean come on.

I agree the game isn't great at anything and looks butt ugly; however, I wouldn't call it the worst game of all time. Perhaps the most overrated game of all time, though.
Overrated steaming pile of shit...
How this won GOTY , I'll never know.
Weak storyline , forgettable characters ,stiff animation , and game breaking glitches.
I think that even in terrible games you can find something good in them if you look. I actually do a podcast all about finding something nea… moret in critically panned retro games.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is definitely not worth 59.99. Total one-time playthrough.
Depends on what you like to do, i am enjoying GTA 5 PC. Its one of the most beautiful games i have ever seen.
Terminator Salvation. Boring story that is insignificant to the Terminator story as a whole. Doesn't expand on the universe even a little. Awful levels that all look exactly the same. Terrible vehicle sections. Hard-as-fuck enemy A.I. Useless teammates. And only three fucking recycled enemy types. Would be fine as a mobile game or arcade, but as a full priced game, it's garbage.
Okay, I will agree, GTA V is fun at least, but it becomes quite Tedious and annoying after a while. If you want a REAL GTA game, San Andres is where it's at.

2 of these games are good.
Man, I like how most people on this forum say good games. Really goes to show nearly everyone here has never played an actual bad game before.
Eh, I didn't include it cause I haven't actually played it, just watched videos of it being played. Sorry to disappoint, but I saw nothing of value in it at all. Did have a good laugh watching people attempt to play it though.
Both. I was severely disappointed with the entire experience. The only thing that was improved was the combat and cover system, and maybe the armor customization. Everything else was a step back. But I would've been a lot more tolerant of the game if the ending hadn't spit in the face of the entire series.
It's fine! It's a good game though, you really should play. It's really funny to watch and laugh at it, especially with a friend. Plus, the Graphics are great, and when it isn't totally Glitching, it's so damn worth playing.

It's kinda refreshing to see someone so positive about a modern Sonic game, especially 06. I'm afraid I'm just really hard to please when it comes to Sonic. I'm an old-school Sonic fan from back around 93. I haven't really liked a Sonic game since Sonic & Knuckles. I'm not usually so jaded, but Sonic is a sore spot for me. I bought Sonic Generations recently though and I hope it's good!
But really, when I think of Sonic my mind always goes first to the old Saturday morning cartoon and comics. That's my Sonic.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of good things about it, so I decided to try it. Maybe I'll get to it once I finish up AC Unity. Unless I get pulled back into Skyrim again for another 5 months. Wait, you like the old Sonic cartoons? I think we just became best friends.

Lag compensation made reaction times practically meaningless in an effort to make the game easier for newcomers. The guns were either over o… morer underpowered. The zombie maps were not nearly as fun as the maps in the previous games, nor were the multiplayer maps. It did have a nice class and perk system I'll give it that, but the game itself focused far too much on trying to make it easy, and making it super fast paced. Previous CoD games were fast, but this attempted to eliminate all possibilities of slowing the pace down by removing all possible camping locations. In the end, it was just a bunch of people running around in circles spraying Mp7's and Scorpion Evo's. I prefer a tactical shooter, particularly objective based ones, such as Red Orchestra and Verdun.
Man I'm not sure lol. I only started gaming seriously back in like 2005, so my history of games doesn't go back very far and the games I usually do play are pretty good because I usually wait for reviews.
I guess if I really think about it the worst game I ever played was....hmm I don't know....
Final Fantasy XIII I guess? I don't know if it was nessecarily a bad game, but I just didn't like it and couldn't get into it.
The most bad game is Mario, I remember that day pretty well like it was yesterday, it was happen on Saturday off 23 May 2015, I launch to the game and playing while enjoy jumping but before ending of the game my keyboard jump button was broken, I was unable to jump to save the princess and I try all I could but it was useless, there wasn't any key-remap configuration to change the jump action and I didn't have enough money in my wallet to buy new keyboard, this game ruined my keyboard and my dreams to be with a beautiful princes, now I'm scare to jump on a girl because I might lose all of my lives...

Worst game ever for me is probably Duck Dynasty. That game was so bad that I have nightmares when I simply think about it.

I remember this music coming from a horror game about The Ring, of all things. Just imagine Sadako killing people with this music in the background:

Why would you buy Duck Dynasty: The Video Game?
And, for that matter, watch the show?

Mass Effect 3 Ending gave me PTSD Flashbacks.

Hey! You didn't add Sonic 06 at least! I guess someone else really does appriciate the good things about the game!
You're a Mod Now? Unless you were before and I didn't notice it, But Congratuations!
Well, fair enough then.
I don't watch the show. And I got the game for like $1.

Hah, I'd say that's the worst game I've played as well. :P
I love when people just add 'no offense' at the end of the things after they call a game garbage.
Here we go:
Very poor shooters that aren't helping the FPS market.
Battlefield 3: Not good either

Have you ever tried this piece of crap out of interest:

Shit. It's already a dollar?
That game truly flopped. But it's still ninety-nine cents too much.
Lol I remember thinking years ago that GTA IV looked so good. Whenever I play it now, it looks like total shit.
Terminator Salvation. Boring story that is insignificant to the Terminator story as a whole. Doesn't expand on the universe even a little. Awful levels that all look exactly the same. At least the Movie was good!
Total RPG failure. 39.99 dollars worth of garbage and non refundable . I'm never buying video games from Walmart again.

Generations is one of the Best games Dude/Dudet! Also, Sonic's Old cartoons were pure embodiments of beauty.

I'm sure torkahn808 is sorry
XD
I actually enjoyed playing Shadow the Hedgehog. I now look back and think to myself: "What a knobhead."
I only enjoyed grief, most of the maps were awful
Little Big Planet 3 that plummy plum game! >_<
Though I adore The Last Of Us & Life Is Strange
