Telltale's Episode 4 Slump?

Anyone notice it? It was referred on several reviewing websites.

I mean Around Every Corner, Amid The Ruins, In Sheep's Clothing either seem mediocre or the weak points of their respective games and don't really stand out or stand out or for criticism

Any "episode 4 slump" is all opinion based and coincidental. I found all of the episode 4's of Telltales most recent games to be some of my favorite episodes in their seasons.

  • I find that weird considering In Sheep's Clothing is one of my more favorite episodes.

  • Eh, if you played or watched Episode 4 of Jurassic Park: The Game (final episode) you might change your mind, I dunno. Some amazing action sequences.

I've forgotten about Back To The Future Episode 4 sadly.

I really liked Around Every Corner though.

  • I don't think it's Episode 4's but just penultimate episodes. So for GOT, it might end up being Episode 5 that struggles instead of Episode 4.

  • The only one I was actually disappointed with is In Sheep's Clothing, with Amid the Ruins being a meh. And tbh the Episode 4 slump thing is more a matter of opinion than anything since a lot of people love those episodes too.

  • Hey, you're back! Nice to see ya again.

  • Heyoooooooo

Hey, you're back! Nice to see ya again.

  • The only Telltale episode I've played that was a fourth one, that I found disappointing was in Sheeps Clothing, but even then, I still really enjoyed the episode. Its only real problem was that it was short.

  • All a matter of taste. I for one think every ep. 4 from the episodic Telltale series are the weakest in the series (so far). But that could be a coincidence (imo). I'm saying they are weak, but they're still fantastic episodes from a strong season. It's just one of them has to be the worst out of the bunch.

From the looks of it, Episode 5 will primarily focus on Mira so I can definitely see the majority of fan reaction for it being disappointed (though personally I love Mira's scenes).

  • I do as well, especially with what they've done in the last two episodes, her story has only gotten better and better and I feel she is the hardest character to play as.

  • Pft, do you know nothing? Only anything from Walking Dead Season 1 onwards matters. :P

(Jokes aside, I agree - that was a great episode!)

It was indeed! I remember being shocked by two things in the episode that still surprise me to this day. That and that OTHER plot twist towards the end of the season were great!

Yeah that was a good episode, I also remember the fourth episode of Tales of Monkey Island, "The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood".

  • Amid The Ruins wasn't the best, but the others were all very good.
