  • The one where Kick-Ass' friend sided with the Motherfucker and got Kick Ass' dad killed. Shit there was no confrontation between them, they didn't show anything else with the Motherfucker and Kick Ass' loser friend. Dude, I fucking hated that kid for having Kick Ass' dad killed. I felt so bad. :'(

It was mostly hated in terms of reviews. A lot of people I know personally love the Death Wish films. I actually disliked the second one since they went a little too far with the rape scenes and shit. The rest though I think are really good.

X-Men 3 and X-Men Origins: Wolverine (especially since X-Men: Days of Future Past, since these events have been overwritten, and the films can now be viewed on their own without worrying about their implications on the X-Men franchise, and I think the story holds up quite well in both).

Spiderman 3 (I never had a problem with this one, although admittedly I'm not a big fan of the comics, so it doesn't matter to me that the character's origin stories have been drastically changed from the comics)

Thor 2: The Dark World (this one actually surprised me that so many people didn't like it, as it's one of my favorite movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I really liked the atmosphere (I thought the scenes in Asgard were brilliant) and I really liked the interaction between Thor and Loki)

Ghostbusters II (I thought the mood slime was a neat idea, and I thought Vigo was a great villain)

Coneheads (this one surprised me as well that many people didn't like it, as it's my favorite movie that was made from a Saturday Night Live sketch. It has a sweet story and I feel it is a perfect adaptation of the characters to film. It's right up there with the original Wayne's World in my opinion)

Oliver and Company (one of my favorite Disney films. I like the music, I like the story, and the early use of computer animation (the panning shot of the stairwell and the chandelier to mimic MGM musicals) works well and actually still looks good today). I was really surprised to learn that it was not well reviewed and lot of people didn't like it)

  • omg yeah I love Oliver and Company. Billy Joel was in that shit and even sang. What's there not to like?
