Sea of thieves game Discussion (Status:Coming soon)
People have stated this reminds them of dream the pirate mmo game canceled back in late snes era/early n64 era so its likely rare is taking some elements from that and rebooting it into a new fresh adventure this is exciting i want everyones opinion on this are ya gonna buy it or aint ya gonna buy it i just want yalls opinions post below ur opinions and such
Also its gonna be a xbox one exclusive

Well, Sea of Thieves looks pretty promissing so far, though I'll need to see some more footage of it, before I decide wether or not I'll buy it day 1. And some impressions on the gameplay would also be nice, but that will probably only happen at nect year's E3 (unless they have a demo of the game at another gaming event this year).
I agree theres not enough gameplay for me to buy it just yet so ill have to hold off until i see more indept footage to get to know what the game would be like and hopefully do show more this year but its more likely next years e3 is when we will see tons more and Um i think we should all slow down the video and rewatch and examine it for any big details since they usually like to put hidden details in trailers and such
Yeah, they'll probably only reveal more next year, as it does look like it's still in the early stages of development. Has it been confirmed if the game will require Xbox Live Gold?
I'm not entirely sure wether or not these are references to Banjo Kazooie, or if my eyes are deceiving me, but one of paintings in the cave at around 0:52 looks like a bear (reference to Banjo? He was supposed to be a side character in Project Dream) and after that, the birds that are flying away look like they are the same colour as Kazooie(?).
Im betting that a reference to banjo-kazooie since banjo and kazooie i think were meant to be a side character in dream as u stated so since this is a reboot its a reference to this event in rare history

Yes, they were meant to be side characters in Project Dream, at some point. At one point Banjo replaced Edison, and it was after this that the game went from an RPG to a 3D platformer.
As for the cave, pause at 0:51, and look at fire in the cave. Next to it there is a drawing of a bear(?) on the rock next to the fire.

Bumping this. It seems like we have further confimation that SoT is the revival of Project Dream, with what appears to be an older Captain Blackeye.
Not interested in it for the simple fact that it is going to be an MMO. I rarely play online games and I would much rather see Rare actually make a new Conker game.
I was honestly expecting SoT to be a single player RPG, like Dream was supposed to be, so that disappointed me a bit. Supposedly,this is 1 of 2 games Rare has in development. The other one is most likely a true Banjo Threeie.
