Thanks! I try. :) But then again, nobody really likes a critic lol.

I learned to write reviews from ChrisStuckmann and Roger Ebert. They're really good critics. I highly advise watching them.

  • Jason Statham was really funny in the end. Some of Melissa McCarthy's rants in the middle really annoyed me. Seriously felt like she was trying a bit too hard. Funny enough, even Rose Byrne mentioned it in the movie.

  • I hear that the first Tomb Raider movie was decent.

Lol. I've got really low expectations for Hitman: Agent 47. Are there ANY good video game movies out there? Or at the very least watchable?

  • I guess I'll check it out later then lol. Angelina Jolie is ok so it should be watchable right?

  • Oh shit, it's 2016? :( I liked the trailer, it seemed funny. I don't have high expectations just to see a silly-funny cartoon. I haven't seen The nut job movie, is it good?

So has anyone seen Inside Out yet?

  • Planning to.

Your excellent review got me going :)

There's a lot of good if you look hard enough. 2014 was a GREAT year for movies. Ironically enough The Nut Job came out in 2014, but that's besides the point!

  • Inside Out is definitely my favorite. I fell head over heels in love with that movie.

My least favorite is surprisingly the new Mad Max movie. But I never saw the originals. So maybe you have to be more familiar with the franchise in order to enjoy Fury Road. So I actually might rewatch that in the future.

What's you're favorite out of the ones you've seen so far?

  • I'm sure there were good movies, but I haven't seen anything amazing lately. The only film that I found interesting was the Nightcrawler, but I can't really say that I truly enjoyed it. Anyway I have high hopes for the upcoming Star wars movie :)

  • San Andreas wasn't that good. Using @ChuckTheLizards scoring, I would give it a C- or a D+.

  • I agree! Though, I am still at a tie between Kingsman and Inside Out. I can't decide! We'll see by the end of the year.

Oh wow really? Mad Max is like my third favorite movie this year. My least would have to be Furious 7. Not saying it's bad or anything. I just didn't like it as much compared to the other ones I've watched this year. The problem with Fury Road in particular was Tom Hardy... didn't say much! He spoke like 7 lines or something? I didn't really mind though.

I'm sure Star Wars will be good, but I'm pretty sure there are going to be those asshole nitpickers. Let's just hope they don't repeat themselves with the sequels. :(

I thought Nightcrawler was awesome. My only gripe was the ending because it felt really abrupt and quick.

EDIT: If you want to see something truly amazing, watch Whiplash. That's is the definition of an amazing film. :)

  • Spongebob: Sponge out of Water Movie review

So, this is the second Spongebob movie. The first one was supposed to end the series (And I wish it did). But this movie was pretty good. It wasn't as good as the first one, so for the sake of convenience I will be comparing the two.

So, the first one had a good plot, and was really funny. The Second one had a worse plot, better animation, plot holes and The advertising kinda lied to you.

The First one was better. I'll be blunt about that, but they were both good. But we're here to review The second movie. The Second movie had great animation. It was better than the first one, but I can't really go on about that as the movies were released 11 years apart. But the Plot was worse. The whole part where they were underwater felt like the sub plot in the episode 'Whatever Happened to Spongebob' (aka WhoBob WhatPants). But, things get REALLY interesting. Like how they go into time travel and the whole part was better executed and funnier than WhoBob WhatPants. The advertising basically only advertised the part where they were out of water, but then they were only out of water for about 20 minutes.

Then they got their superpowers. They were pretty awesome, and the final part was Awesome, and the fight scene was awesome. Everything about the final scene was awesome. Except live action Sandy. She freaked me out. And the ending. Plankton has the perfect chance to take the formula, gives it to Mr. Krabs, and then goes back to stealing. STATUS QUO IS GOD, MUCH. Seriously.

So it's time to compare. Let's compare the plot's first. The first Movie's plot was that Plankton get's plan Z, and the plan is to steal the crown, have king Neptune defeat Mr. Krabs, steal the formula, take over everyone's brain, and be happy. He succeeds, but Spongebob and Patrick go to shell city to try and get the crown, and THEY also succeed, and Defeat Plankton. The second movie's plot was the formula vanishes because burger beard has a book that can change the universe, writs in the book that he has the formula. Mr. Krabs is certain thatPlankton stole it, and Spongebob is working with Plankton. Bikini Bottom goes to crap because there are no more Krabby Patties, and a page from the book falls on Sandy's treedome.Plankton and Spongebob try to gather a team, fail, and they use Time Travel to try and get the formula back. They fail, and Spongebob volunteers to be sacrificed to please the Sandwich gods. They smell krabby patties and go toward it, and a magic Dolphin make Spongebob, and the gang able to breath air, they get superpowers, and have an epic fight with burger beard, and everything's back to normal. Comedy: THE FIRST ONE DOES IT BETTER. Basically everything you can name except the animation the first movie does better. The first one is easily my favorite Nick Movie, the second Spongebob movie is my third.
