Did You Know?

This is a thread about giving little know facts about anything you want. Could be movies, games, books or real life (Similar to the "Details that people might forget, don't notice or just don't know about" threads by @dojo32161). The gimmick here is you start your facts with "Did You Know...". If another user didn't know that fact, they should like that comment. Let me demonstrate...

Did You Know, In Toy Story, Andy's sir-name is Davis.

If you didn't know that, feel free to like this thread!

Did you know that @dojo32161 no longer has monopoly on those "Details that people might forget, don't notice or just don't know about"?

  • Here's another one: Did You Know, Rapunzel, Tiana and Cinderella can be seen in Frozen?

  • I don't know about Tiana and Cinderella...They just look like a black and white woman. Rapunzal however is her.

Did you know that it still hurts me deeply, especially considering the GOT one was made days before it had even released?

  • Did you know the tyrannosaurus rex didn't live during the jurassic period, as popularized by Jurassic Park.

  • I've never heard of anyone thinking this because of that movie. Or in general.

A better misconception of Jurassic Park would be the Velociraptors: the real Velociraptors didn't look like that feathers, like 2 feet tall. They were inspired off Deinonychus, which at the time that the book was written were considered Velociraptors. And Utahraptors weren't discovered until after the movie finished filming.

Also, only two dinosaurs that appeared in the movie were from the Jurassic period: Dilophosaurus and Brachiosaurus.

Same thing happened to me with those trailer reaction threads. I made the first one and then people started making their own threads for new episodes. Meh, not much I can do about it I guess.

    Did you know that

-People find gross things less disgusting when they're horny?

-The phrase "Elementary my dear Watson" was never mentiones in a Sherlock Holmes' book?

-A small percentage of people still think the earth is flat?

-The computers that helped getting the man on the moon were less powerful than a modern calculator?

  • Did either you guys know that now I'm scared?

Did you know that I actually didn't know that?

  • Did you know the only thing you have to fear is fear itself? … In which case you are suffering from phobophobia, the fear of fear. Okay, phobophobia is probably not what Franklin D. Roosevelt was referring to in his famous speech but how odd is a phobia of fear? And what you might find even more peculiar is the science behind fear. Neurologists and psychologists are studying fear to determine how phobias and anxiety disorders form, how to treat them, and even how to predict them. The Marian Koshland Science Museum recently held a talk on the science of fear with psychology experts Daniel Pine (a researcher at the National Institute of Mental Health) and Mark Wiederhold (President of the Virtual Reality Medical Center), and we were on hand to gather eight fascinating (and sometimes surprising) facts about fear.

Did either you guys know that now I'm scared?

  • It's okay it won't happen for 4 billion years.
