For the record, I disagree with most of Sarkeesian's points. I just think that your argument is a really bad one. There are companies out there whose actions literally kill people. That's not going to stop me from complaining about game developers releasing broken products (I'm looking at you, Arkham Knight), even though they're pretty damn good companies when you compare them to Halliburton. Your most recent post was complaining about Telltale not making TWAU 2. If I told you that you couldn't complain about that because children are dying in Africa, you'd call me an asshole, and you'd be right.

Does she complain about the quality of the games? I think not, she argues that the supposed sexism in games somehow hurts women, which is false. If Anita made videos bashing game bugs, the big delays of new TTG episdoes or broken games at release I would be fine with that. She is saying that women are hurt by the game industry because some games have sexy female characters or some stupid shit. Meanwhile in Saudi Arabia women can't drive a car or go outside without a male guardian. She is stupid but the real idiots are the ones that donate to her.

Games where just as violent in the past, nowdays the technology is just a bit better. The only game company that really overdoes the sexuality of female characters is Bioware, but as a male gamer I actually disliked that because it broke the immersion in Dragonage, there is no purpose whatsoever to have a chest revealing armor. Most of games I play - Fallout, TWD, TFTB, Tomb Raider (the new one), Max Payne and so on does not have that. But in the end it boils down to a question, does this hurts women? Is this an actual issue? My answer is no, because if you take Anitas stance then you basically deny the beauty of female body and support covering up in burkas, because oh god if some male would find that attractive.
